Car crash tv. These people agree to almost anything to keep getting that pay cheque.
Exactly my thoughts on the show last night. From the truly awful dancing judges at the beginning to the shrieking and back slapping at the top of the stairs when a couple go up to join Claudia and then of course we now have tears from some of the celeb dancers. It's hardly recognisable from the programme I used to love.

It's awful! Bruno is the worst, totally over the top, camp and extremely cringeworthy!

First week, I thought it was a cute point, but now I see that it will just get worse / more camp week after week. If they keep dancing in, I would prefer they danced in with a pro each.

And with his spins, Craig either needs to lose a bit around the middle, or get a slightly looser jacket!

What is your opinion on the judges dancing entry?
Not sure I would go so far as to call it dancing! All 4 look stupid; Len and Darcey also look embarrassed. They should stop now before it gets even worse.

Dancing? Well, "dad-dancing" at best! All 4 of them look stupid and should stop now before it gets worse.
I', wondering whether this is an intended joke on the "judges" by the Producers, to make them look daft. They have succeeded.

I suppose they had to try something different with no Bruce there to take the p*** ou of them, unfortunately it doesn't work

It was ok for the first show as a bit of a laugh. But leave it out from now on..please. As others have said, totally cringeworthy. Craig is the worst for me, leave dancing queen to Abba.

It's awful but looks like they are doing this for each show

As soon as he comes on doing all those turns, I immediately think of his hip!.. having had a replacement myself years ago I know how long it takes for it to settle in, and one of the things you are told is 'don't twist your body suddenly'.. I would say it takes a good two years for it to implant into your body and everything to settle down!, I think he is playing with fire by doing this so soon............

Its as annoying as Brucie's little shuffle about we had to endure for all the previous series.
Didn't like that and don't like this.

More to the point...where does Tess vanish to during the dancing?

Why do we see her rushing back onto the dance floor to get on her spot or on camera?

Does she move slower than an 85 year old or have a weaker bladder or something?
Brucie used to do the same thing though didn't he!, I just thought he had a sit down between dances and mis-judged the timing getting back onto the dance floor!...

I suppose its the alternative to Claudia trying to do a tap dance or swing Tess about.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest. It only takes 30 seconds. I sometimes wonder if there are people who watch the show without enjoying any of it.

Well, the idea probably is to show that they are experts in their fields and can dance too. It's a bad idea and quite cringeworthy but it doesn't distract from the show for me. It's 30 seconds of it as already said.

its probably there to fill in some of the time left with no Brucie jokes anymore. Lens viewers film clip section looks like another time filler, There are probably more too.

I find it embarrassing to watch.
It seems to be part of the new "pantomime" image Strictly is adopting this season.
There definitely seems a dumbing down theme throughout.

Not impressed. I guess the Beeb thought we needed the judges playing silly buggers but I wish they would knock it on the head.

I like it. Its not great but if theyre judging dancing, why shouldnt they prove they can move?!

It is 30 seconds too long.

Maybe they didn't think Tess was capable of introducing the judges??

It's a bit cheesy, but I suppose they have time to fill now that they no longer have a Bruce dithering.

It's not dancing. It's self-conscious showing off (Craig, Bruno) or embarassed "look what they're making me do" shuffling (Darcy, Len). Make it stop, please.

I love it! Whoever had the idea was inspired! Yes of course it's total rubbish and apart from Darcy they either don't bother (Len) or try too hard (Craig and Bruno) but...... hahahahahahahahaha. It either shows their wonderful ability to poke fun at themselves, or their outrageous conceit.
I agree I think it's cute & funny; it's nice to see the old fogies can all still move, (obviously not including Darcy) after being stuck as talking heads for so long!
