We need a press campaign for Sunetra, she definitely deserves more views for her Cha-Cha, I thought it was a fair bit undermarked.

Jake's Salsa is already approaching 19k views.

For comparison - Sophie's Charleston had 24k after 36 hours, so he's definitely on track to beat that.

Jake & Janette's Tango - 54,720
Caroline & Pasha's Cha-Cha-Cha - 41,246

Outside of the banner number of Jake's performance, Alison has done very well to get that high up with a poorly-marked foxtrot buried in the middle of the show. What sort of figures was Lisa pulling for her ballroom/side by side jazz hands fests?

Back sometime in the eighties, that height of automotive mediocrity, the Mk 111 escort, was the bestselling car in Britain.

A popular pastime and spectator sport involves hitting a ball with a stick.

I have long since ceased to be surprized by populist phenomena.

It's possible some of those views for J & J's salsa are people trying to figure out what all the fuss was about, but I suspect it's just proof the Chris Hollins effect is alive and well.

The usual suspects are leading the youtube hits this week, with Mark as the comedy routine also doing well.

Shame about the loop though, as it gives a false number of hits (if you play one vid from the BBC wall it automatically starts up the next one; saying I viewed something that I clearly didn't).

Anyway, I will leave the youtube hits to other people. My post is about the facebook likes from yesterday's show:

Frankie & Kevin - 9.676

Jake & Janette - 8.238
Sunetra & Brendan - 8.110

Caroline & Pasha - 6.548
Pixie & Trent - 6.307
Steve & Ola - 6.163
Alison & Aljaz - 6.045

Thom & Iveta - 3.570
Mark & Karen - 3.235

Simon & Kristina - 2.648
Jennifer & Tristan - 2.484
Tim & Natalie - 2.155
Judy & Anton- 1.984
Scott & Joanne- 1.709

Rising (on last week): Sunetra, Frankie, Caroline, Steve
Falling (on last week): Jake, Alison, Mark, Simon

Most surprising is probably the fact that Simon is on a bunch with the 4 worst dancers left in the competition and that some of the pretty men aren't doing that great either (surprisingly both Thom and Mark are currently doing worse then last week, yet they were both at the end of the show now and had memorable dances to booth).

Thanks for the link.
People watch for all kinds of reasons, i usually watch see it was really as bad/hilarious as I first thought it was. I rewatched Mark's superman and tried to decide if he was sending himself up or was oblivious of what a pratt he looked. For me, that was almost as bad as Scott's choreography.
