I don't think any dances were mentioned on Saturday - Len was talking about Rumba to Sunetra and Brendan seemed confused, but that's it. Gregg should have a ballroom, and Frankie a 'proper' latin, but that's all we know.

For the record the only dances to have never featured on Movie Week (including its rechristening as 'Hollywood Week' in 2012) are the waltz and samba, just Waltz if you count Musicals Week last year.

Thank goodness it's movie night, instead of the pointless "love week" we had last year

I was confused as to why Brendan was insinuating that he and Sunetra wouldn't be doing a Rumba at any stage without giving any indication that he knew this for sure - it was like the thought of it was off putting to him?

I got the impression that he thought Len was trying to say they had the rumba next week, which he knew wasn't the case.

I got the impression that Brendan was saying that at no point would he be doing a Rumba with Sunetra as if it would be up to him to select which dances they did for future weeks. Possibly a bit hurt that his sexless Rumba with Sophie last year was criticised by the judges? That would be a shame though, as an actress Sunetra should be able to produce a good performance.

Also I wonder if Movie week will see the rumored Bollywood dance introduced (you know, to a song from Slumdog Millionaire or something).

Yes that bit was most odd, Brendan made no sense at all really.

Has to do with last year, his panned rumba with SEB.

Well, we all know that for those couples who get to the final, there will be one dance that they don't do (like Kara didn't do the Samba, Harry the Paso, I don't think Abbey did the AT etc). I get the feeling that before the series begins, the pro picks which dance to avoid (maybe in conjunction with the celeb) - see why James hardly ever did the Samba if he could help it. So it might just be the case that Sunetra and Brendan's avoided dance will be the Rumba.

Anyways, as it's Movie Week, I'm just waiting for the recycled songs (Unchained Melody? Footloose? El Tango de Roxanne?)

I really hope they don't include bollywood, but if they do would hardly seem fair if say Suetra did that as I believe her mother teaches Indian dancing so surely follows Sunetra may have done that style of dance?

I think the Bollywood thing will be a pro dance, when Kristina mentioned it in the interview she made it sound like she'd already been working on it, and Tristan has said that the pros learn all the group dances before the series starts so it would make sense for it to be a pro dance.

Please don't let there be another dirty dancing Salsa

From the trailer during the results show Scott appeared dressed as Ariel but that saddens me, a Disney themed week would've been amazing guess we'll get a couple next week!

Why on earth is Donny Osmond on the panel.

BBC trying to give the viewers something they don't want. Again....

My thoughts exactly,,,,it will probably mean we won't hear from every judge next week, actually that might be a bonus

OK, so yes - every celeb does have one dance they avoid, even if they get to the final - as previously mentioned...

I'm unsure if it's pre-arranged: Aliona once made a comment early on in the competition on ITT about incorporating Harry's drumming skills in a Paso later in the series; they didn't do one in the end! Whereas we know from results shows in the past the celebs and pros seem to know what their dance for following week is, like they're handed a rota at the start of each series - so who knows? But I assume that's what Brendan was referring to, although I can't see the 'avoided' dance being the 'choice' of the celeb or their pro, more likely producers. Harry avoided the Paso, but he'd already done one on CIN special with Ola. Same way Kara avoided Samba, but had won the Sport Relief special samba-ing with Ramps. Fern Britton avoided the Jive in her series, having already danced it in the Xmas special. I imagine Simon Webbe and Kristina won't be dancing a Cha Cha Cha this series for the same reason.

The only exception to this rule would be Jade Johnson with the Cha Cha Cha, dancing it once in Sport Relief and then again with Ian Waite in her actual series.

Susanna Reid did a group Cha Cha Cha for CIN but did it last year - to be fair though the CIN routine wasn't very Cha Cha Cha -ish and plus it meant she got to avoid doing the Rumba. Ann Widdecombe was notorious for informing the public on the live shows what her dance would be the following week as a tactic for votes and on one occasion mentioned the following two weeks worth which were Samba and Rumba. Even if Brendan knows that he won't have to Rumba it seems strange to bring it up as a point in the moment of Len mentioning it.

Haven't found any clues on twitter yet. Here are the two dances each have done and whilst they could be given any discipline it may help it could give us a clue as to what they might be given based on style (i.e. if they haven't done a slow dance). I think we'll see the remaining dances introduced too (except Argentine Tango).

Alison: Cha Cha Cha & Foxtrot
Caroline: Cha Cha Cha & Tango
Frankie: Waltz & Charleston
Jake: Tango & Salsa
Jennifer: Jive & Waltz
Judy: Waltz & Cha Cha Cha
Mark: Cha Cha Cha & American Smooth
Pixie: Jive & Waltz
Scott: Cha Cha Cha & Tango
Simon: Jive & Tango
Steve: Tango & Cha Cha Cha
Sunetra: Tango & Cha Cha Cha
Thom: Waltz & Salsa
Tim: Cha Cha Cha & Waltz

I wouldn't be surprised to see three Cha Cha Chas being given out considering it's the favoured dance and in 2012 had been danced by all the celebs! I'm predicting Jennifer will get it to give her a boost after the dance off, Thom and Simon.

I think this might be a recycled song choice - "Jump in the Line" has been used for a Salsa before iirc, think it was Anita & Robin back in series 9 that I remember it for. So if that's the case, Jennifer might have a Salsa this week.

Could be a Salsa or Samba to 'Jump In The Line' by Harry Belafonte which was in that film.... I think Anita & Robin had this song a couple years back for a Salsa.....

Can't see it being anything else - only other song I know from Beetlejuice is that banana song and I honestly don't know what dance would fit that.

Caroline has the Rumba (via Twitter).

Don't know if if the teaser on the result show was giving clues to the dances/movies for next week but Caroline's line was most definitely from Armageddon. Could be 'I don't want to miss a thing' by Aerosmith.

Amazing - hope they get a decent song so to do justice to the dance.

Tristain has also commented on Simon learning to strut...

Saturday Night Fever maybe? Which I'm sure we've had before....
