Theyve used cell block tango from Chicago and El tango... A few times.

Oh, okay I only started watching Strictly in 2012 so I didn't know that they'd already been used. I wish I could watch all of the old episodes, though

I wish I could watch the old episodes too. They really should release DVDs of all the dances... There are so many brilliant ones you just can't find on YouTube

Yes, I agree. I'd love it if they released them all. I've seen a few on YouTube but they aren't all there. It's a shame

Oh, just a side-note thing: I've just re-watched the VT on iPlayer and in that clip Jennifer and Tristan are smashing plates Or they at least dropped them. Is there a scene like that in Beetlejuice? Or is it just one of those things they do in VTs, like to get her feelings out or something Are they definitely doing a song from Beetlejuice? Plate smashing just reminds me of that Zorba the Greek song That would be fun

Yes, Holly & Artem danced to that a few series ago.

Hope to see some inspired music choices, even if that seems very unlikely.

Oh dear...I hope that Jennifer and Tristan dont have the salsa; Seems a bit harsh of a dance for her in week 3 imo
First she got the jive for week 1
Then they danced in the death slot last week and now possibly the salsa ? Cmon now , Give them a break !!!

If it is Beauty and the Beast for Pixie then maybe Be Our Guest for a Quickstep?

I think it'll be her best dance. She'll have to think on her feet and respond to the immediate. Might suit her tennis self much better than waltz or Cha Cha.

Honestly, I can only picture her being dragged around the floor again like in her waltz. If she can't keep up in a waltz, I don't see how she'll keep up in a QS.

Kevin has tweeted a clue - emoticons of a flamenco dancer and an American flag.

I think Frankie and Kevin are dancing a Paso Doble to America from West Side Story. Zoe and Ian danced their Freestyle to it

Or 'American woman' for a Paso used in American Beauty and The Cable Guy.

Used by Michelle and Brendan.

It's nearly all Latin dances revealed so far, so we have a few Ballrooms to come.

Think Mark and Karen might have Paso Doble as well, someone tweeted asking what their dance was this week and Karen tweeted "Hint: Ole"

Is 'America' really suitable for a paso?
bendymixer
06-10-2014
thought it would be paso or tango so as he called her Frakenstein last night on twitter think their music could be something like Misgiving by Maker from I Frankenstein or for something really out there Transylvanian Lullaby from Young Frankenstein )

hate america as a paso just too fast

I don't know the difference or if there even is one (!), but I don't know if someone in the know can deduce if Frankie is wearing ballroom or Latin shoes?

So, Thom's doing his Charleston to New York, New York - either the On the Town one or the Frank Sinatra one. I'd lean towards the former, because dancing to the Sinatra song would be pretty darn slow (and would open itself to comparisons to Michael Vaughan's dance from the other series...)
