Ballroom and Latin

I think each celeb should do one ballroom and one Latin before there is an elimination. That would be fairer.

If Gregg had a waltz to do on Sat, it may have saved him . I knew he didn't stand a chance when they gave him another out of hold dance .

absolutely agree

I have NO idea why the powers that be think the celebs can do a decent charleston or american smooth when they have barely learnt the basics in ballroom and latin

its ridiculous!

I agree too. I think it was unfair on Gregg who I suspect might have been quite a bit better at ballroom.

I had the same thought this morning - Gregg didn't get to do a ballroom dance. He might have been a decent ballroom dancer. Judy on the other hand...

Perhaps they should do the Bossa Nova in the early stages. Looks like a Latin speeded up version of Waltz steps. Surely this would be easier for some celebs.

Bossa nova is certainly an easier latin dance to do, and has some nice music. I'm generally not very keen on the introduction of new dances, but in this case I wouldn't necessarily be against it. I guess the interesting question is regarding its performance level. It is nice to dance, but not sure about its attractiveness to watch? (Open, not leading, question.)

Hmm.

Such a suggestion would restrict the ways in which the BBC could manipulate this "competition."

(Not saying they do of course!)
