They are a forgetful bunch a good portion of them forget it's on Saturdays too
They are right to scrap it, it did not work.

Series 11 of The Apprentice is in production according to the Radio Times, which will be broadcast in 2015.

They'll be hoping this year does well then.

Btw How did Glue do last night?

Decent start for Granchester, If I'm honest I thought it would be higher, and NT is actually holding up OK now, surprisingly close between the two of them.
There was ALOT on at 9 last night, we could not decide between The Kitchen and "24 Hours in Police Custody" in the end we went with The Kitchen, I liked it, I think it could be a grower.

DS have already done their roundup. It's strange that they didn't the report C4's figure for 9pm given that it's the prime timeslot...

Edit: Sorry I thought you were talking about the one starting in a few weeks, my mistake.
Actually really looking forward to The Apprentice, it feels like AGES since it was on.

Perhaps they're putting it on in March again after this year's delayed series.

No problem with me, I LOVE The Apprentice

24 Hours in Police Custody: 1.9m (8.8%).

Broadcast suggests that's 600,000 viewers down on last week's opener, but that's not correct is it? More like 60k.

Not a surprise because it was the same for Gogglebox. It may still take off with word of mouth etc.

But BBC Two did pull Alex Polizzi's The Fixer from this slot with similar ratings, so I don't know how many chances it will get at 9PM.

Nothing for 8 out of 10 Cats?

In fact when it came out of repeats last month, ratings went down!

Goodness me that's bad. They had a good run on Monday nights earlier in the year but after this and Age Gap Love that good run is well and truly over.

The only way is up with Gotham but you'd have to question to what extent it can transform their fortunes overnight in what is proving to be a dead slot. At least from Five's perspective Grantchester didn't start too big, and the demos are likely to be different anyway.

That's a low rating.

Eastenders created a water cooler episode last night. The figure last night reflects really the story last week. It was hit and miss and Friday in particular resembled a spoof at times. The impact of last night is word of mouth to ex. EE viewers. How many will watch on catch up and then keep tuning in.

If true, that is idiotic because during This Morning they had at least two promos asking you to catch up on ITV player if you missed it last night!

These are the time shifts that I have (feel free to correct them ) for New Tricks.

Am I the only person who think they just don't make sense?

1.44, 0.51, 0.54, 1.34, 1.25, 0.50, 0.53

I know regional opt-outs have an effect, it just seems that Barb have not got a grip on this.

I'll stop moaning now.

I am not sure your figures are absolutely correct but they are near enough and I have been saying for weeks that they make no sense to me. NeilVW did a full breakdown for us and I am sure he will update.
It seems to me that every time there is a regional opt out the timeshift figure goes awry.
In the last few weeks as I understand it the opt out has only been in Northern Ireland which should be a very small no. off the overnights and a very small reduction in timeshifts.

It's a shame to see Glue doing so poorly, it's an excellent drama one of the best of autumn so far.

It will be getting 5m by the end of november, happens every year.

Oh and the TV Times Next week section has Suprise Suprise, Jonathon Ross and Life Story (David Attenborough nature programme) during the week of 18-24 October.

Cilla with another fantastic consolidated figure, so that's 8.6m, 8.1m and 8.2m.

New Tricks got another poor timeshift, Plebs almost doubled its overnight and Glue did.
