#StrictlyComeDancing was last night up 620k compared to last Sunday, #XFactor down 220k and #DowntonAbbey up 160k.

At least Downton has levelled out a still decent level. The drop for the first couple of weeks was alarming.

Mike if you are around do you have a top 20 for yesterday (Sunday)?

#StrictlyComeDancing was Sunday's highest rating show, peaking at 10m and averaging 9.1m on @BBCOne

Goodness! Didn't think the Strictly results would get over 9m!

Viewers don't care that the Strictly results show is recorded.

Tbh I not really surprised that Strictly is top on Sunday. Why would those who watched the 2hr programme on Saturday decide to miss the 40 minute one on Sunday.

Also don't forget how much of a supportive schedule the BBC has on Sunday compared with ITV. It does help.

But last week people were predicting that X Factor would start to overtake Strictly. The opposite has happened.

So can we assume that XFR only came top last week because of the DA viewers who tuned in at 9? Or perhaps the viewers of Country Antiques Roadfile fell asleep and left their TV's on BBC1?

I don't know why Strictly was so low last week, relatively speaking. Maybe that's it's normal level and it was boosted by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett this week?

The X Factor was boosted by the 9pm overlap last week so to be down by only 200k isn't a bad result, all things considered.

I think the days of Lady Gaga being a big draw passed long ago.

Tony Bennett then? I can't understand why else it would suddenly climb by 600k week-on-week.

Me neither really. But then again the Saturday show was up by a similar amount wasn't it? Maybe the viewers carried over.

I also think Palladium is doing OK, and deserves another run away from Strictly.

Palladium has been commissioned for another run next year.

So how about we restart the Ratings Thread debate about which one of Tess or Claudia is going to get sacked by the BBC at the end of the series.
(rolleyes).

Hmm so The X Factor running a longer clash hurts Strictly both nights? Possible, I suppose.

Great figure for Countryfile and Antiques Roadshow performed strongly too. Our Girl and Palladium didn't disgrace themselves.

Thank you for the figures, Bushmills.

8.30am Lorraine
(9.09am fire alarm went off, 9.11am tried to interview TXF loser Steph Nala, 9.12am ordered to evacuate).
9.14am Inside The National Trust (with Michael Buerk).

So that's twice in 12 hours that Stephanie has been told to get off our screens.

Thanks Bushmills.

A decent night for BBC1 between 6.20 & 9.00pm. Will they ever have something at 9pm that will be more competitive opposite Downton?

I wonder if they might try to attack Downton next year, as it has shown weakness for the first time this year.

Not that I think they should, I do find it annoying when channels waste good shows trying to dent others.

The only one of these we watched was POG's doc. Fascinating bit of telly.
