Poor figures really, it should be av. over 9m and peaking over 10m.
I bet Jenny has been told to tweet these figures as a way of highlighting that its still top soap, knowing full well the ratings are down heavily YOY and don't want the press to pick up on it.

They have to stick it out and play the long game with this one H. Manchester United won't be playing on Sky every week. There will always be a sizeable number of floating viewers in that slot they can attract. It needn't be down all the way from here, indeed I see no reason why that would be the case. But clearly the pilot didn't do a good enough job of grabbing people and that's a problem in the short term.

Thats not so good but expected I think. How long before they shove it on 5* at midnight?
Good for Emmerdale and Corrie, real shame that EastEnders didn't see any boost at all. I don't understand it, the quality's there but viewers flood back to Corrie instead. Maybe Nick's return this Friday will give it a lift next week. Maybe it can surprise tonight and stay above 7m, there was a great cliffhanger and the weathers poor so hopefully it should be close to 7m at least.

It would only be in danger if it dropped below a million in the overnights, which it won't do in that slot. Even UTD didn't dip below a million in its first season on Monday nights, albeit at 10pm.
There's no need to panic. They need to have faith in the programme they spent a lot of money on and they may be rewarded in the long term.

It's stupid really. Corrie is dire right now, but there still seems to be viewers willing to tune back in.

Grantchester is steady on last week. The consolidated ratings will be interesting.
That EastEnders rating isn't great. When EastEnders gets a boost it never lasts for long. You'd rather be Corrie with 8.4m than EastEnders with 7.14m.

Anything for The Walking Dead? Fantastic episode last night I thought. No adverts when you watch this on Fox On Demand either.
I'm not looking forward to Intruders starting next week. There is no way that we can fit it in around Gotham, Under the Dome, The Walking Dead and 24 Hours in Police Custody, so Intruders will get the iPlayer treatment on another night and will have to be really good for me to stick with it.

So sticking to the facts rather than insults it seems that its dropped more if its initial audience than Channel 4s launch of a second run of an expensive drama "The Mill" in July. This is an expensive mistake for Channel 5 if the figures don't stabilise.

No tactics at play here - Gotham has dropped 25%, a hefty drop for any drama - and I have acknowledged that this is not good. There's no hiding place when the overnights come in and it's there in black and white that it's not held up well.
You still haven't answered me about The Mill. I wonder why that is. Will it get a third series or not?

Why are we comparing the Mill to Gotham?
It would be better to compare with Agents of Shield, what was the drop for that last year?

Don't worry, Intruders is very good - the quality is there. Of course that means nothing to the barb viewing audience of this country.

I watch Gotham and The Walking Dead through On Demand on Sky. I need to see them in one hit. Next week will be very crowded for fantasy/genre/scifi fans at 9pm. I want to see Intruders but the 9pm slot is so crowded that one of those shows will take a hit. Would hope that they could all coexist.
