I'm starting to think the big character they lost on the 1st eviction has lost them a chunk of audience. .
Same reason seems to be apply to The Apprentice as well, as they lost a big character last week.

Watch the usual suspects pounce on any lower IAC rating and predict long term decline for the next few hours now.

What are the chances of MBB repeat being bbc1's top overnight on xmas eve? If it does unexpectedly well and EE tanks, it might pull it off!
EastEnders won't be that low but I wouldn't rule out a Mrs Brown's Boys repeat beating Not Going Out on Christmas Eve.

Still pretty poor. I don't think any of the soaps will be in the top 5 on Xmas Day.

I'm A Celebrity was on at 8.30pm last year for the final week wasn't it? Was midweek football on last year?

Its disappointing to see it fall. But its always the same year after year. The 3rd week always seem to fall below the previous two.

Last year the final was 11.3m. I think this year it will be more closer to 9.5-10m.

The Apprentice is looking very poor as well.

Corrie and EE would have to drop a bit to pass both Strictly and Doctor Who in the overnights through. So I can see the top rated soap being 4th or 5th.
Corrie wont be getting much higher figures on Christmas Eve than it did last night. Somebody said the soaps will be 7-9m Xmas Eve. Emmerdale will be in the 6's and Corrie no more than 7.5.
I cant see a Mrs brown repeat getting above 4.5 m and Skyfall would have to extremely popular to dent EastEnders that much. It's Core audience is around 6 million at the moment. It will have a better lead in than usual I suspect.

Masterchef Professionals (12%) 2.7m
Waterloo Road (9%) : 2.1m
Hahahahahahahaha! Waterloo Road will be missed by every other channel except BBC1! That full series order was a superb move!

Excellent!

And James, I have a bone to pick with you! Yesterday you said that you felt unimportant and a nobody because posters couldn't remember it was you that said something they were responding to!

DON'T EVER SAY THAT AGAIN!!!!!!! As long as I remember who you are you'll always be important and a somebody.

It was absolutely shite! I decided to watch it properly last night for the first time in ages. An hour of my life I'll never get back.

I love the hyperbole on here at times with The Apprentice having been described as tanking or being very poor while getting 4.85m against a 7m+ show.

Come on yorkie, stop putting your common sense head on! I much prefer your mischievous one! (Oh, hang on, they're the same head aren't they!?)

They should have done a shorter final series of Waterloo Road.

We dodged a bullet there!

Especially when that 7m+ show started half hour before it. The Apprentice probably would have got a similar rating to the past two weeks if they both started at the same time.

The only person who keeps mentioning a long term decline for IAC is you.

Yes I got that impression. Either three weeks starts to become too much or there is lesser interest in the eviction process. I suppose the fewer people there are the less social interaction there is and consequently less of what IAC is all about.

What was BBC One's opposition to I'm A Celebrity last year? It feels like they're trying harder this year with Remember Me, The Missing and The Apprentice but I might be misremembering 2013 - for example The Apprentice may have aired in the autumn last year too. I can't remember.

After such a good Monday (wasn't it level or up year-on-year? ) it's a shame to see the show hit a sudden dip - albeit nowhere near a crisis.

They need to move Waterloo Road from the 8pm slot. It's absolutely tanking there. With those figures, the 10:35pm slot would be more appropriate.

Harry Hill as comedian is pitched to Adults as well as Children so he does have a strong adult fanbase.
With everyone complaining about BBC Christmas Eve what would everyone have done if they were the scheduler. And were would you shown Branestawn.
BTW what did the premieres of Caisno Royale and QOS get on ITV.
Don't open that can of worms, last time we had pages of alternative predictions which were massively stronger than the BBC's actual offering. For the record, I'd have switched Branestawn into 5pm Xmas Day with Call The Midwife on Xmas Eve.

Nah. IAC has run out of steam this year. I've not bothered with last 2/3 episodes. Ant and Dec are phoning in their performance as they know it is below par. Flogging a dead horse a bit for them. Might turn in again for final.

IAC slumped like this a few years ago but they managed to get a few good casts and it picked up again. It was on fire a couple of years ago. Hence the mega high launch show last year.
