I agree. And ITV don't benefit from 70% of recorded shows' adverts, as only 30% are played back at normal speed and count in the ratings as far as the consolidated viewing to adverts is concerned (the currency in the ad business).

Broadcast gave 10.0m as the 5-minute peak at 19:45, but that was the same number (to 1 decimal place) as DS's 15-minute peak (9.99m at 19:45), albeit with a different share. (The breakdown we had was a 15-minute one, and it also gave 10.0m.) It might be right, but I would have expected some growth during the last 15 minutes before the clash.
