He is one of the most annoying Hosts on TV and is crap at LIVE tv fluffing his lines on This Morning Alot. That Paddy guy is also rubbish.
Ant and Dec are good though.
Funny to think Philip Schofield cut his teeth on the BBC, where he was once very good on Children's BBC and Going Live.

As much as I dislike Ant and Dec, they are very good at what they do.

Yes i remember.
He fluffs his lines too much and has no idea what he is talking about half the time.
so many better hosts on the BBC and ITV

I like them
It's funny to think how two chaps from a BBC Children's Drama
Can become household names presenting TV after all these years ans still winning awards.

EastEnders on New Years Day could rate very well. A shock death is to happen but producers have kept the Victim under wraps.

Ant and Dec are very good at what they do. Just imagine the sort of rating Text Santa would get without them.

Looking ahead to BBC One on Christmas Day:

18:15 - Doctor Who
=> two repeats scheduled for 60 minutes - no overrun
19:15 - Miranda
=> one repeat scheduled for 35 minutes - no overrun
19:50 - Call the Midwife
=> one repeat scheduled for 75 minutes - overrun
21:00 - EastEnders
=> one repeat scheduled for 60 minutes - underrun
22:05 - Mrs Brown's Boys
=> one repeat scheduled for 35 minutes - no overrun

The only thing we should expect is for Call the Midwife to overrun a few minutes, but this won't matter as EastEnders will run short anyway.

When I saw them roll out Schofield ........ what next ..... ITV really don't have any talented presenters
Are you forgetting Christine Bleakley and the dream team of Paddy McGuinness and Alesha the presenters of smash hit " Your face sounds familiar"?

They really should get Ant & Dec to present the lot.

Christine Bleakley is the dullest presenter on TV and Paddy McGuinness is an idiot who thinks he is funny.
I quite like Alesha Dixon though.

Puzzled as to why Emmerdale has collapsed suddenly when storyline wise its been quite good, can't see any of the soaps doing well Christmas day.

Not bad for Text Santa, I think if it stays around 4-4.5m they will keep it around. Especially in the wasteland that is ITV this time of year.

Text Santa would work well with X Factor. Have the winner of XF appear on the show live performing the winners single, and a duet with another established singer. Get Ant and Dec onto the final of XF to promote, and you may get a few extra viewers.

Although saying that, it was Wasted Friday, basically everyone who could go out for Christmas Drinks with work colleagues were in pubs up and down the country.

I guess I will be in the minority then - as I thought that it was awful. I still have an overwhelming urge to kill Ant and Dec with a spoon
Why a spoon - I have several much nastier impliments !!

The BBC also have the mighty Alex Jones! I'd pick the Text Santa line up over all of Children In Need apart from Wogan.
I am sure ITV would prefer the CIN ratings though. Graham Norton is better than the lot of them.

Dirty Den?

Imagine how screwed ITV would be as a whole if something awful were to happen to them - no more Text Santa, IAC would be dead, BGT would struggle, XF could be the only LE they had left
Maybe next year if Mel and Sue are an afternoon hit, they will join the team
They must never leave Bake Off, they love it too much and we love them too much, it shan't be allowed

If you think that's dull...next Tuesday at 8 pm on ITV Roman Britain from the Air in which Christine Bleakley ''hops into a helicopter to discover the marks left by the Roman occupation.'' Even Holby City can't fail against that.

Nicely engineered to give the Eastenders slot the biggest peak audience of the day, could drag the average up by a few hundred thousand. ITV will have to hope it doesn't deter Midwife viewers from switching over to watch Downton live afterwards.

Could this Downton's lowest rated episode yet?

I would say absolutely definitely. Call the Midwife could be in for a stinker as well.

Nightmare in a bubble car anyone??? I tell you what, the sick bucket may be needed for the controllers on boxing day and I'm not talking about the alcohol!

It's going to be deliciously disgusting, I cant wait!!!!

Haaaaaaa ha ha !!

Really?

Maybe if it was 2009/2010/2011/2012. Last year the peak came at around 8.20-8.30pm when Matt Smith's Doctor regenerated. Hopefully EastEnders will get a boost due to interest in the episode but I'm not expecting it to have a big boost, if any. Also I'm not sure Call The Midwife will give a big lead-in to EastEnders

Having said that a very small part of me (No not that. Rude!), thinks there could be some higher than expected Christmas Day ratings for EastEnders which would boost Mrs Brown's Boys.
