Unclear what has happened with tape-checking, but it doesn't make a big difference given the gulf between the two channels last night.
Two stand outs: Skyfall as mentioned, brilliant rating, which makes me wonders whether terrestrial TV film premières are coming back to life, or whether this is simply good schedule.
Secondly, Mrs Brown's Boys peaking with nearly 5 million at 23:30! Surely must be making some revise their #1 prediction for today...
