The outfits this series

I am very disappointed by the outfits I have seen so far on this series. Last year they were so very beautiful and this year is not a patch on them.
The girls' dresses are very uninspiring, and that includes Tess, Claudia and Darcy too. Last year they all looked so elegant and pretty, and their hair was lovely too.
Even the men look very plain this year, with some of the celebrity dancers performing in what looks like the kind of casual everyday outfit you could imagine them going shopping in.

I must admit that I thought Mark's jumper was an odd choice for an American Smooth, and I don't like seeing the guys wearing chinos but I loved the pro dresses for the launch show.

Natalie's waltz dress this week was just breathtaking, I thought she looked exquisite,

Just remembered, those trousers Jake wore were hideous!

I did not like Marks outfit and I think it may have hindered his dance slightly as for me the outfit is all part of it, and the fact Karen was in a lovely flowing dress made him look all the more ridiculous.

Kevins and Jakes trousers were hideous.

I thought Jennifer's dress suited her very much, and I liked Sunetra's and Natalie's too. I really hate the comedy aspect of the costumes - Gregg's chef's outfit was ridiculous. I wish they would go back to how they used to be, and save the dressing up for the themed nights like Halloween and Movies. I remember when the males danced all their latin numbers in black trousers and a satin shirt in the same colour as their partner's dress, and wore morning suits in black or grey for ballroom. I think this would be a good move to go back to.

Quite agree with this. I also feel that the fabrics used for the ladies' dresses seems very cheap and without any weigh.

I've liked a few of the dresses, some of the men's trousers, and tops have been dreadful, and Ola's outfit, I thought was just hideous.

Tristan's suit was way too big for him....it was like a small boy dressing up in his father's suit

They've been for lack of a better term, quite pedestrian so far. Been particularly disappointed with the male costumes this year. That glittery jumper Mark was wearing was just, I don't know, like they picked it up in the girls section of New Look!

There's something quite cheap looking about the material this year. Very strange. Maybe it's my new tv giving me a hightened image?!

Both of Sunetras dresses are the only ones that have stood out for me, the mens costumes have been awful especially the trousers, Marks top It looked like it was Michelle,s😲

Mark's jumper was ridiculous - what were they thinking sending him out to do an American Smooth in that????
Not many of the costumes stick in my head so far but I did like Frankie's green waltz dress - the colour really suited her.
