EE: If you could axe a family, who would it be?
Ian and Peter are #DUNWIVLYF after finding out the Lucy killer? The Slaters realise that they have no clothes to wear but seem to always find new ones each episode and contemplate the suspension of reality and leave? The Carters leave after being banned from hosting karaoke nights because #whatsthepointinarapeifyoucanthaveakaraokenightattheendofit?
The choice is yours

I wouldn't axe any family! EVERY family bring something to the show and are deserving of their place on the show! However, if I were to axe members of a family, I would definitely axe Lee from the Carter's! He is such a pointless character! I'd also axe Tosh, even though she's not technically a Carter, Donna would be GONE! Dexter would most definitely be gone aswell!

Masoods, which pains me in writing this as they were my fav family from about 2009-to early 2013.
I just think they have run their course and nothing else to do. You forget they are Edit: and they are not even available to vote which even proves how forgettable they are. |

Cross. Cora and Dexter seem like hangers on representing everything that was so awful about EE during 2012-13.

While there might be a few characters I don't particularly like, there's no family I would axe completely. Also I'm not one who thinks "I don't like this character/family therefore they should be axed", I know it isn't just me watching.

As they seem to be keeping pretty quiet, I'll speak for the Slater voters.
Alfie is unbearable, Mo's had her day and despite liking Jessie Wallace, I struggle to like Kat these days. Stacey to me is a Branning. Or at least that's how I justify axing the rest but keeping her.

Comparing Ann Mitchell & Khali Best? Ann Mitchell is an award winning actress and Khali Best is simply awful.
Though both are award winning. In my opinion the characters of Cora and Dexter represent everything that was wrong with EE over the last few years. Having the awful, awful, awful Hartmans shoved down our throats without good reason or need, firstly to give Saint Tanya something else to be high and mighty over, and then as their own standalone unit that not one viewer cared about. Cora was all over the place over those few years, from tedious 'bickering' with Dot, to 'supporting' Saint Tanya through her crappy cancer-cold. Her personality changed with the wind to suit whatever ill thought out plot was going on at the time. |

To be honest, get rid of the Cottons. If the show keeps going without Pat itll keep going without Dot. She's never happy, the actress gets very little time to shine and I really don't see the point in Dot anymore other than being the oldest on the show and one of the longest running characters!

Carters. I don't like Tosh, Tina when she is with Tosh, Lee or Linda. I don't see the point of Johnny. Mick I sometimes like and sometime dislike; his slang is currently being so overdone. Shirley is so overused that I'm starting to not like her. I like Nancy and Stan and Stan's leaving.
I was close to saying the Mitchells just to get shot of Ronnie though. Can't stand her. |

Definately axe the Carters, they are the main reason that I don't watch Eastenders as much as I used to. I can't stand Linda, Tina, Tosh, Dean and Babe, I don't much like Johnny and Mick (both of them are drips), Stan is leaving anyway, Nancy and Lee don't seem to have much of a role, Shirley is ok in small doses.

I wish Carol, Whitney, Sonia and whats-his-face had followed Bianca and co off the square. I can't stand any of them, especially Whitney and Sonia. Bor-ing.
