Ok, they have released a gallery on the website with a picture, name and quote from each candidate!

No audition tapes yet, but I presume that'll be tomorrow...

Feeling excited now

Jesus, there are actually twenty. I'm not sure how I feel about that, feels like we will just be rushing through without time to get to know anyone.

And as always most of the quotes are ludicrous nonsense that would get you laughed out of any real job interview.

I am going to reserve judgement on the whole 20 candidates thing until the series is over.

I can't wait to see the audition tapes, but judging by looks and the quotes, Lauren is a firm favourite of mine

I think that may have been an accident, as they've been removed now! I am sure they will be back up tomorrow alongside the audition videos and the bios.

They've given away the fired candidates days before the episodes have aired in the past, this is nothing in comparison.

I feel kind of annoyed - finding out the candidates in this way is very underwhelming, having to wait nearly 24 hours for the audition tapes etc.

How clumsy of them!

This cast does look very interesting anyway - I screenshotted all of the pics because I hjighly suspected it was an error

This year's bunch remind me of the early series... A much older (looking) group of people, and the women are a lot less glamourous than the last few years!

My thread on TiBB <3

I luckily still had the slideshow whilst the link was taken down and print screened them. Some of them are a bit iffy though.

20 candidates? That's a concern. That means that there is going to be a lot of double firings. Either that or the interview stage/final is going to be overstuffed with candidates.

I hope they just have more tasks this year and are having a Wednesday/Thursday night double bill for a few weeks D:

Nope, there are definitely only 12 regular episodes, plus the usual Final Five and Why I Fired them. Why do you think it's a concern?

it's only 4 extra candidates

that's easily got rid off by firing a losing (sub)team at some stage for dramatic effect

Lauren reminds me of Jennifer M. from the 2nd Season of the American version.....those lips

And a muslima, that will probably go down well (lol).

And another Mark Wright

It does seems a bit more serious, which might be good, but I do miss the glamorous lifestyle of the last few series (heck, any series aired on BBC1). Will be interesting to see if this bunch can hold the attention of a wide audience.

Because getting to know 16 candidates is bad enough and adding another 4 will just exacerbate that. And endless double firings would be awful. The punch from the single double firing we get each year comes from the fact that they're unnecessary and when they happen, they feel deserved.

I see what you're saying about 'getting to know' the candidates, but to be honest, I felt I had really gleaned every candidate's personality last year, didn't you? Four more can't be that bad!

And I agree, up to 5 multiple firings from Week 1 to 10 will see the 'shock' of multiple firings very quickly be lost!

I really regret following the filming thread now, as I have a very good idea of who gets to Week 8

Think it misses one candidate (it has 20 pages, but the first page is the intro page). At least as far as I can see on my mobile, but all the profiles will probably be available soon on the BBC page.

Looks like the same old tick box exercise.. you can see someone from pretty much every demographic. Classic apprentice really.

The profiles are all in the Daily Express this morning. Together with up themselves comments from some of them (will they never learn?). http://www.express.co.uk/entertainme...series-BBC-One
Lord Sugar also says as the series is 12 weeks, he may fire more than one in some tasks. Looking forward to it all immensely.

I think this is a very good cast, however the Telegraph's review doesn't seem as positive as the reviews of last year's first episode.

It's certainly a very diverse group, and the characters are good, but not as overbearing as last year's. I am looking forward to seeing how they interact in the first two episodes.

There's a Tuesday/Wednesday double bill next week then it's back to one episode a week.............

20 candidates equals quantity over quality which has been an issue with this programme for several years now.

I think its a good cast. There's definitely self assertiveness but there's no really dum comments in interview like my business role model is a mixture of a duracell bunny with einstein which was given my Luisa. I think Chiles and James look like standout candidates for guys and for girls, maybe Lauren and Roisin? It's complete guesswork though, last year I thought Tim and Miles were standouts and Sophie and Natalie for girls ; and that was seriously wrong haha.

My favourites are Bianca, Roisin, James and Steven!

I agree, it is a good cast, plenty of likeable people, mixed in with the token idiots. In fact, 90% of them are likeable,
