A short clip from the first episode:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0285g2q

This looks good, makes me excited for the first episode

You can already tell who the big characters are: Sanjay and Daniel are both gonna be key characters in this year's series I think

Be warned that reviews for the first episode are up already, they don't actually spoil who got fired but I would advise caution all the same.

Team names are

Spoiler
Summit for the boys (as seen in the above clip) and Decadence for the girls. Decadence.

Well we know where some people will come undone as they've being saying things like "i'm a natural born salesperson" so i guess there will be a selling task where they bring in £20 and the rest are all in the 500-1000 range and the giggling woman you know the laugh will get on everyones nerves from day one

Wow. It turns out that I actually know one of the candidates.

Ah, that would be telling. I don't know the candidate well enough to say they were a friend but certainly someone I know.

Here is a trailer showing footage from the new series:

This makes me very excited! I think we're in for another good series!

Having watched Steven Ugoalah's audition tape I predict he'll last about 3 or 4 episode and will be under the radar for most of it.

I just watched a clip of Sanjay Sood Smith's audition, what a knob!

Oh my god, i've also just seen the black American Steven Ugoalah's audition clip! OH MY GOD! This guy is hilarious!!!!! I'm pissing myself laughing, this guy is going to be comedy gold! I urge you all to watch his audition clip! Please let him be in the final!

It might only be four more but we hardly saw anything of the 16 candidates in previous series. Some candidates don't start appearing until week three/four and then suddenly get fired in the episode they pop up in, whilst others are visible one week, invisible the next.

The editing isn't great when it comes to the candidates, so I don't have high hopes for this series now they have four more to squeeze in.

Sanjay was on Deal or no Deal a few years ago dressed as an elf at Christmas. I bet he'll not want that brought up in the boardroom

We can't judge on 20 but what you've said about last year's candidates is totally untrue. Every single candidate had had more than ample airtime by the time they were fired. Nearly all of them had recurring themes, that wouldn't have been possible if we 'hardly saw any of them'.

Digital Spy have put up their first impressions of episode 1 (can't link to it atm but it's on the front page)

This is a general summary of what the article says, my speculation will be in bold and brackets:

Spoiler
- One team are forced to change their team name as LAS hates it (I presume that's the girls)
- The PM for the girls suggests that they hike up their skirts to sell the items (Not sure who this will be, maybe the one who's into fashion)
- The PM for the guys struggles too, although DS says it may be due to a language barrier (Again, looking at the bios I'm not entirely sure who this is, but I can only guess either Felipe, Sanjay or maybe Steven if he's American)
- One candidate's 'arty farty' nonsense is dismissed by LAS
- One candidate admits to having previously worked for Arsenal Football club

The PMs got confirmed in a review of the first episode (possibly the Telegraph I can't remember):

Spoiler
Felipe is the PM for Summit and Sarah for Decadence. It's also Felipe who worked for Arsenal.

Equally pain and vomit inducing.

But it is what makes this programme: No one ever even comes close to their hype or even up to the common sense level conduct.

That time again! It makes me laugh because in the opening episode and their statements and quotes I have just read, they all sound like they have such a high opinion of themselves, and then on the show, when challenged, they shiver in their shoes and look like idiots
