She was one of that special band of brilliant, award winning actors that graced our screens throughout the Classic Who years which make the current rabble look like pantomime performers. That's why she's starring in this advert and Colin Baker is in the new Ryan Gosling movie while Matt Smith is doing Puss in Boots at Norwich Theatre Royal this Christmas.

I'm glad the OP posted that video, it's good to keep abreast of what she's up to....

She had a happier ending in that advert than Peri did in Doctor Who

So, the message appears to be, "Buy private health insurance, so you can get back to buying other things"? Rather telling, Axa...

(okay, okay - I'll drop my rather Spartist air, now that that's out of my system!)

So she is surrounded by clocks and ends up seeing a Doctor.

The advert needs an extra scene with Brian Blessed going on a shouty killing spree. Although sudden death may be more appropriate to advertise life insurance than medical insurance.

I also thought that this ad would have been immeasurably improved if the husband had been played by BRIAN BLESSED.
Sorry, but there's no other way of typing his name...

Anyway, Nicola is looking mighty fine.
When's Peri going to make a reappearance in Who? Go on Moffat, you know you want to...

Always nice to see her.

I rather like the chair she chooses at the end of the advert. In fact, it all looks rather aspirational: mooching around a flea market and being given the all-clear from cancer ... sounds like an idyllic weekend ...

Actually it's Peter Pan in Norwich this year I'll have you know!

And we don't have Matt Smith but we do have the bloke who played The Rani's chief Tetrap in Time and the Rani.
