I really like Chelsee Healey; she seems like a lovely, funny girl. However, I can't see her fitting into Casualty. She isn't terribly sophisticated and she does seem to play very similar roles. And I'm really not sure about this forthcoming romance with Ethan!

No, she is definitely not!

I really hope the (ill-considered) romance with Ethan doesn't ruin him because he's a great character.

Also, the programme really doesn't need a sodding tea lady?! Why couldn't they have stuck to the original plan of bringing in a nurse and cast someone who can actually play more than one role. The fact that Chelsee couldn't convince as a nurse just proves what a limited actor she is.

I'm not too sure. Casualty has been very good of late and feels more 'upmarket' than the other soaps. The actors are excellent and all take very good parts, so I don't think a 'Janeece Bryant-like' pouting tea-lady is what's needed!

She's all wrong for it. Completely and utterly wrong. She couldn't deal with the medical jargon so her role was changed from a nurse to a tea lady. That says it all.

As for her and Ethan - for goodness sake, how stupid is that!

I know it takes a wise man to play the fool, but she is an idiot. Her boobs are also longer than her arms. I think of a t-rex everytime i see her

Nope, Terrible Actress, very one dimensional character, isn't A&E all about getting there patients in and out rather than offering a cup of tea.

Sounds like they won't be able to progress her character, due to her being unable to understand jargon.

Seeing that she still commutes from Manchester, rings bell to her commitment, Maybe that new chivvy show from Chester would suit her more

Yes this would be a much better idea. I think these two would be very sweet together

So we loose one well loved character one week, to another which is likely to be disliked on here.

Just to point out, I don't dislike Chelsee personally - I actually really liked her on Strictly.

But she is not right for Casualty. If she couldn't play a nurse then they should have left well enough alone. Why bring in a tea lady?? I blame the producers. Did they sit around a big table and go "I know what this show needs to make it bigger and better - a tea lady!!"

They really do not have a clue and the show will suffer as a result.

Awful Actress, Casualty is very soapy these days, compared to the series currently running on Drama you can really see how dumbed down it has become
