Tracy Ann Obermann has said she would return again as Chrissie. Now seems the right time because Sharon is in the show. Would love for her to return as she had history with both Sharon & Phil.

I don't think there is anything in Walford for Chrissie! I think yet another return would be too much. I don't want Chrissie to come back.

Yes I would love for Chrissie to come back in a guest stint. Kat and Sharon would be annoyed to see her back. But realistically, she cant' return yet because she murdered Den Watts and she has been sentenced to jail for a very long time.

It doesn't even have to be a long stint - I'm convinced Chrissie would work as a recurring character. She'd turn up occasionally to cause trouble for the Mitchells, then bugger off again for six months. It'd be great.

Chrissie vs Ronnie would be genuinely fantastic television.

Ronnie's not to messed with physically, but on a mental level, Chrissie was such a brilliant schemer that she'd probably be able to take on Janine and win mentally.

Ronnie and Chrissie! That would be good. If they were pitted against each other then I echo that Ronnie could take Chrissie in a fight but psychologically Chrissie has the edge, together though, they would make a formidable duo.

This! I agree. What or who would Chrissie return to? She's played by a great actress but the character is done.

I asked DTC on Twitter a few weeks ago if he had any plans to bring her back.

He never replied.

Obviously I took this to mean that she's definitely coming back and he didn't want to let the cat out of the bag so to speak. No way at all did he just ignore me. Ha Ha

Probably a case of watch this space re Chrissie Watts' possible return - as DTC seems to be the master of getting strong characters to return to the show after x amount of years away! Not sure what would be there for her to come back to after so long spent "inside" and it is unlikely she will have any assets or anything to invest in a would be business on the Square.....unless she's one of these returnees who turns up with nothing but then somehow is worth a mint in no time at all after a bit of wheeling and dealing - David Wickes anybody?!

People say she would have nothing much to go back for - true - but there'd be plenty of interacting on the Square with the people who have long memories from that "who dunnit" time of 2005 in the show re Den Watts mark two's murder.....with Phil and most of all Sharon being the most obvious supporting roles for Chrissie. We shall see....

I think there will be a time to bring her back. Maybe when she's been out a couple of years and got herself a nice sugar daddy who can set her up in one of the local businesses.

After seeing Ronnie deal with Phil being shot last week I don't know, Ronnie was utterly ruthless and she seems to have got her balls back. From 2009-2011 they ruined her character by turning her into a miserable wreck, she seems more like she was from 2007-2008 but with a more dangerous edge.
