Quite shocked (but nevertheless very happy) by the amount of times Broods topped the vote to be honest. I mean they did come second, but it seems like they've done incredibly well throughout the entire series?

This week the eventual top four broke away from the others, and while Tove reclaimed the top spot, Margaret was not far behind. X Ambassadors were barely ahead of WG, and George once again skipped gracefully away from the sing off.

This show provided Margaret with her OTTP moment as she took the lead at the top 7 - making herself look certain for the final with the eventual top two. George/X/MSMR looked to be fighting it out for the fourth spot, however Ella fell a long way behind the rest of the pack and was cut by the jury.

So our final four finished the semi in the same order they would for the final - although only a few points separated each of them. X Ambassadors fell behind the rest whilst George ended his bottomgoddess journey in 5th place, having been fighting with MSMR for the final 4 spot.

Lmao I was so worried Broods would go out here. Turns out keeping me in suspense about my fate right until the end was likely either just random chance or because I was the only person actively following the results.

Tove surged to a five point lead over her competitors that meant she took a lead and ran with it on finale night. MSMR were also a bit behind Margaret/Broods - which was where the real battle happened. They went back and forth throughout the night but Broods edged Margaret by a point to take the second spot in the top two.

Final Two

Broods 45.88%

Tove's lead remained quite consistent throughout the night - and Broods definitely put up a good fight at the final two - but Tove was victorious in the end!

In the event that I did, I can't remember who and it's probably way off the mark anyway.

I seem to remember putting George for one of my predictions, which is fairly respectable compared to where he finished.

I think mine were quite random if I recall correctly, I always flop at the predictions anyway XD

I think David edited the wiki with an overview and such in the past, but as no-one has expressed interest at archiving this series I've just added (this actually took quite some time - bloody Redemption Island and the Alex/Rory split were causing all kinds of trouble ) a section for it on the new webpage also housing The DS Factor.

Oh, and I did a terrible job at predicting. This is exactly why I'm never going to bet any money on the actual XF. Well I got MSMR correct, that's something I guess.

Thank you to Alex and Rory for being brilliant hosts of a great series. It's a shame my acts didn't do better but that was probably due to a combination of them being mainstream in an indie dominated competition and slightly bad mentoring.
