I am sure they would have been pencilled in at some point.

Lord Sugar heavily critical of them his radio times interview.

Maybe they will knock it back now.

I assume he would not have any say in your fired guests

Luisa I think is quite likely.

It's been seven years since Katie was a candidate, and as far as I know she never has been up until this point, so I think it would be a bit strange for them to suddenly go for her now.

I would agree especially since she is less popular than well smelly brown stuff.

I think that with regards to The Apprentice, the big difference between Katie and Luisa (arguably the most controversial candidates so far) is that despite everything, Luisa was really serious about getting the investment, and is a pretty successful businesswoman in addition to basking in the media attention that she received from it. Katie, in my opinion, went on the show purely to make a name for herself, and never wanted the job in the first place.

He says both of them would go to the opening of an envelope, they are desperate for publicity.!

Luisa definitely. Katie I doubt it, she's become a parody of herself.

Have they ever had ex-candidates on the panel before? I can remember ex-winners turning up at the final for a catch-up but never on the main panel. Regardless I think the opposite to the OP - they're not the sort of people I think they'd ask of the ex-candidates and both of them would bite the show's metaphorical hand off to be on and sound off regardless of Lordalan's opinion of them.

Saira and Ruth have definitely been on the You're Fired panel before, although I can't recall any instances of more recent candidates doing that.

In Series 1 of You're Fired! (which accompanied Series 2 of the main programme, as Series 1 didn't have the spin-off show) there were occasions on which Tim, Saira and Paul Torrisi appeared on the panel. But now it's brought up, I actually can't recall them doing that in recent years either. I'd like them to do it more actually - maybe not with Katie (I wouldn't mind Luisa), but some of the previous candidates' opinions may be more relevant than the comedians that they have.

Luisa turned out to be just as attention seeking if not more so than Katie. As we have seen since The Apprentice, Luisa is serious about anything that gets her on telly or in the papers. With all that sex stuff, she's an embarrassment to The Apprentice. Her business was a cover for getting her in the media spotlight.

Yes, they could even have a few (recent) winners on the show.

Although one might argue that the recent winners are offcourse in the backpocket of Lord Sugar (and wouldn't come up with interesting stories about their time on the show).

But someone like Yasmina (creative director at a loan company) would be good, no direct contact with Lord Sugar anymore and a business person herself. Or even beter Michelle, who really seems to be a digital/technological consultant (fits with the tasks in the new series).

I agree that Luisa is an attention-seeker, but that doesn't mean she isn't properly serious about her business as well. There's nothing wrong with what Luisa did, I don't think. She's bright, and I felt that she did really want the investment, but she's also had a lot of media offers as a result, and if she doesn't mind that sort of thing, I have no issue with that. She was also really gracious about not winning, if I remember correctly she said that Leah was the only person she wouldn't mind beating her.

Absolutely spot on and I also think the show has had a boost again primarily thanks to luisa

I get them all mixed up with each other, the same as with all the X Factor/Pop Idol etc finalists. The only one I can really remember (where I can put their full name to their face to their personality) is Ruth Badger.
For 2 outta 3 of those I slightly remember Rafe Sausage Cooking-Tin and that woman who knew what blinis were but had never actually had one.

Luisa and Katie are both bright and attention seeking. Both do and/or say anything outrageous to keep their media profiles high. I don't see any difference between them these days. They are both full-on media whores.

I assume you are referring to Sugar. Althougth he's a loathsome but entertaining little toad, I have to agree with him!

If Luisa was a truly serious businesswoman, why would she waste her time presenting Big Brother's Bit on the Psych?

Surely she has better things to do.

Given her track record as a company director I would assume it pays much more.

Probably worth mentioning Kate Walsh who was one of the most credible candidates ever but ended up hosting a third-rate talk show almost immediately after the series. It's possible to be a serious businesswoman and also enjoy doing something different or just for money.

I think her being one of the most credible candidates ever is debatable. Personally I never warmed to her, and thought she was overrated.

Who was the third former Apprentice who was on You're Fired along with Ruth Badger and the posh one last night?
Even when they said his name I couldn't place him or remember ever having seen him before.

Neil Clough. He was on it last year.

Thanks. I did hear and recognise the name last night but I couldn't remember a single thing about him. I just wondered what he was like and what he was notable for on the programme.
