EastEnders and Emmerdale, always without fail. Love those two.

I never really got into Hollyoaks, I have an understanding of some of the characters and plots but that's mainly because of this forum :P And I watch some old clips from time to time.

Coronation Street, however...well, I watched it as much as I did EE and ED yet I've just lost all interest in it now. There was a time when it was brilliant and I will remember it for that, but not anymore. I too might tune in for a big stunt/major moment but otherwise nah.

I go through stages with them all. EastEnders is my only constant these days (although I did ditch it for 6 months during the Johnny Allen era).

I dip in and out of Neighbours and caught a bit of Emmerdale the other night that caught my interest so I may delve back in again. I last watched obsessively up until Tom King died but tend to tune in for some of the big storylines and then lose interest again.

Can't remember the last time I actually sat down with the intention to watch an episode of Corrie or Hollybollocks. I got hooked on Doctors when I was on maternity leave but struggled to keep up once I was back at work so it dropped off the radar.

Yet somehow I always seem to know exactly what's going on in all of them

There was a time when I never missed an episode of any of them though. Right down to PCBH, Knots Landing, Take the High Road and E Street.

Is Wentworth classed as a soap? I bloody love that!

Gave up on depressing Eastenders ages ago.

Watch Emmerdale & Corrie.

Emmerdale is my favourite.

Totally agree it is superb - and the Philth would have his balls cut off by Franky, Bea or Boomer.

And as for what The Freak would do to him I just shudder to think!

Spoiler
Probably get an acquaintence to smash them to pieces with a massive truck like Matt Fletcher!

Don't read that spoiler if you haven't seen the Season 2 finale!

Emmerdale and Coronation Street for me. End of.

The 8o's were the best time - I'm going to start a thread about it - the greatest era for Soaps!
