This is arguably the strongest group of actors the soap has ever had - and the appalling Peggy Mitchell is best left in the past.

One of the few weak links is Dexter - and I hope to God he is axed as soon as possible.

I think the cast is stronger now but I do see your point, with Martin and Nick coming back that makes 5 original characters (well I know Martin is a recast but still) I loved DTC.

i was rewatching some 2010 episodes earlier and one think I felt was, whilst there were zillions of Brannings it was fairly balanced with who was getting the storylines. Forward past the shite of 2012-2013 in 2014 there is too much dominance by the Carters. they are involved in practically every storyline like we have to see the other characters through their eyes or something.

The cast is good but it really isn't the strongest it's ever been no where near.
