Youre are probably right!
Just in case you do get the call see below some advice from you Aussie friends down under. Its worth taking note:
If you do go through to the group audition but are not required this year then please remember that there is nothing personal in such rejection and you may succeed next year. Remember, it all depends on the personality of each and every other auditionee. If you do get a call for the group audition and make it all the way into the BB House please remember the following throughout the audition process.
Auditionees should be prepared for the following:
* To read and adhere to the terms and conditions in the application, otherwise your application will not be considered.
* If you have had any history of violence or crime in your life then forget about it as it is not worth applying. If you are a shy person it really is not worth applying either, nor is worth it if you are overly outgoing believe it or not but that one is up to BB to decide.
* To be fully prepared to hear absolutely nothing about the outcome of your application.
* If you are called in for a group audition you must be fully prepared for the possibility of a very confronting situation in some tasks.
* If you are chosen to be a HM you must be prepared for long and boring days whilst in the BB House. However you should try to have fun, challenge yourself and your fellow HMs and even BB himself to an extent, within the limitations of your agreement.
* If you do find yourself in the BB House expect not only the above but expect the unexpected at anytime throughout the series. The BB format may just be quite predictable but one of the rules is that BB reserves the right to change the rules. Therein lies the key as to why I strongly believe in the BB concept as the greatest television show ever because it can be changed and evolved on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly and yearly basis (if the Executive Producer has the stomach).
As we have seen on BB in other countries over the years, there have been celebrity visitors, formers contestants visiting, former lovers competing with each other as contestants and twins being swapped to fool other HMs. We have also seen the “rich versus poor” BB House, a “head-of-the-house” and a face-to-face eviction nominations process, all the way through to marching bands waking the HMs up in the morning, a helicopter “abducting” a contestant to take them to a series airing in a neighbouring country and all sorts of hilarious or plain ridiculous antics from BB. So always expect the unexpected from BB as any of these things could happen to you. Always expect the unexpected from the crew even as well as fans and the media and your fellow HMs.
* If you do find yourself in the BB House remember that as each series goes by the voting groups increase in intensity, which may, or may not, be to your disadvantage. A few years ago it was shops selling a few items of paraphernalia to raise money for eviction voting calls. Lately we have seen the rise of much more organised attempts to influence the outcome of the series. The favourite always wins over the popular one (excluding Reggie who was both) but voting groups might start to challenge that scenario in coming years so be prepared to be evicted at any time, even when you least expect to be evicted.
* Last, but certainly not least, always remember the fans like me during and after your stay in the BB House (you can publicly thank me or Big Brother Chaos if this article has helped). This is a golden opportunity for you to turn things up a notch in your life, after the series, regardless of whether fans evict you because they do not like you or vote for you to win because you deserve to win. Therefore you can and should seize the opportunity to take on greater challenges in life.
