Yeah, I think he will be found guilty since I would guess that Peter being cleared of the crime will coincide with Rob being revealed as the killer and I do not think that will happen yet.

Of course he's gonna be found guilty. How else would the actor leave. He's already said he'll return but its years not months.

yes its going to be guilty i think. he is leaving so cant see that happening quickly if found not guilty, he would surely have hung around trying to reconnect with Simon, possibly try to reunite with Carla etc etc. Think he will go down and then Rob will do a runner

thing is if he gets sent down, when the actor returns they are going to have two murderers in one family getting off on a technicality and yes I know he didnt do it but the street dont

unless of course they bring rob back just before to confess which would actually be rather stupid. corrie really didnt think the ending of the story out well

So if Peters found guilty and gets sent down how will Rob leave? Death perhaps? But I think Rob will confess out of guilt for Simon. The advert kind of suggests that might happen.

Is this definitely his leaving time? Has he stopped filming as. I haven't read that yet?

This is Blackburn where talking about, he will get off and forgive the whole street before getting offered a job in Gibraltar with a national bookmaker.

I think he left around the same time as Marc Baylis.

I'm expecting Peter to be found not guilty but I don't know why he leaves.

I think Peter will be found not guilty and will leave the street. Everyone assumed he was guilty, Simon hates him and he probably doesn't want to be looked down upon by the rest of the street due to the affair with Tina. Carla will unlikely want anything else to do with him either despite the verdict.

I think Carla will find out Rob is the killer (somehow) but allow him to leave and go on the run as she doesn't want to see her brother go behind bars. Similarly she did this to Tony Gordon, she had allowed him to go free for half a year when discovering he killed Liam. She'll probably give him some money to tide him over.

Personally I hope Rob gets away with it, sick of soap "villains" confessing and handing themselves into the police to be locked away. As long as he doesn't return in a year just to be killed off, I like his relationship with Carla and they have good scenes together (which is why I am disappointed they feel the need to write him out).

I think he'll be found guilty too.

I know it's only a soap but I can't bear to see a miscarriage of justice, it really bothers me.
Such a soap cliché too.

If he's found not guilty I'd find it hard to believe he'd stick around in a street full of people who were so ready to believe he was a murderer. I think he should be found innocent, leave and take Simon with him.

I've said right from the start he will be found guilty as in ALL soaps the innocent go to prison and the guilty get to walk away Scott free as is usual and I'm sick and tired of ALL the soaps that's why I HAVE stopped watching ALL of them

I think he'll be found not guilty so they can keep Jim in

The only character I recall in Corrie being found guilty was Deirdre, but she was released about 2 weeks later.

Gail, Fiz, Tyrone (only because Kirsty gave herself up) where found not guilty, and almost all the villains (except Tracy ) go to prison or get killed off.

I would be shocked if Peter was found guilty and somehow a part of me thinks he might be going by the dialogue, such as him assuring Jim he will be found not guilty, but knowing his luck this might not happen and he'll be at Jim's mercy.

And Corrieland - in a world of it's own!

So it's quite feasible that he could get found guilty on naff-all evidence, get sentenced to death and suffer his punishment by public execution with Norris, Mary, Carla and Michelle all there jeering! Corrieland - in a world of it's own!

I'm sure I read recently that Marc had filmed his final scenes

If the prosecution can simply read out the "evidence", and not give the defence a chance to question witnesses, then he doesn't have much of a chance.

I think he will bew found Guilty and give the actor his exit
Carla gets curious when Rob and Tracey's stories do not match, and confronts Rob who confesses. It looks as if this all happens around Tracyluv's wedding so she may be in for a disappointment

I agree. The only question for me is how long he stays in prison.

There is a Soaplife Careless Whisper about someone begging their lover to go with them on the run when their crime is suddenly exposed. I'm guessing that must be Rob, but whether he actually goes on the run or goes to prison is anyone's guess.
