Erasure (Appreciation Thread)
Erasure is a duo that's very often looked upon as the poor mans "Pet Shop Boys" but I think Andy's voice is much more richer and soulful. They've produced some amazing album's over the years like "The Circus", "The Innocents" and "Chorus" but their new album The Violet Flame" is the best i've heard from them in a long time.

The album is ok, it's better than tomorrow's world but that is one of my least liked Erasure albums. Best song Sacred, if Calvin Harris did a remix of that song it could be a big hit but that song is probably the only commercial song on the album. I like Dead Of Night, Reason, Be The One and Under The Wave.
Really looking forward to the 21st November in Glasgow it's going to be a great gig. |

The stand out track for me is Be The One, which sounds as good as anything they did during The Innocents to Chorus years. Enjoy their concert, last time I saw them was when they did The Tank, The Swan & The Balloon. |
