sorry but tess shut up sometimes

She is getting worse as the series goes on, it seems like she is trying to compete with Claudia in the silliness department, but equally I find Claudia is trying too hard now. She was great the first week but she's going downhill.

The thing with Tess is she is not quick witted, so if something happens that is not supposed to ie Anton picking Judy up, then she doesn't know what to say or do, and she can't even smile or laugh at it as she is only programmed to read the autocue......

She also ruined Donny's 'someone help me, help me please' gag at the start of the show.

I can't work out her accent. It's a bit strange. I don't think she's a natural presenter .... She doesn't look relaxed.

Don't even start me on Claudia .... She's an unfunny, clumsy mess who brings nothing whatsoever to the programme. The only positive thing I can say about her is she has a lovely shine on her hair.

I quite like Tess & Claudia

She can read an autocue but she can't be spontaneous, ad-lib or make jokes. She is a presenting robot.

She tries but she is not a lead presenter, but the BBC will show loyalty to her because she's been there since day 1.

Totally agree - no personality. Thinks the show is all about her. At least Claudia is not afraid to ad lib & have fun

Use the Brucie mute it makes her much better!

I dont mind Tess, although she hasnt settled into her role this year.

Sad thing is, she was fine when she * stood in * for Bruce, but now that she is ** it** , she seems to think ( or the producers do ) that she has to be the funny person.......which she is not capable of doing.

She needs to go back to being the Bruce stand in of last year and she will be fine, not to try and ad lib as she doesnt have the quick wit ...

A big plodding girl. Sad, really. But not as bad as her hunchback sidekick.

Last week I thought she was good. This week she's regressed.

The worst situation of all.

She's not so dreadful she has to go, but plenty of people of the opinion that in the right hands the programme could, and should, be better than it is.

She's about 80% there- which for flagship prime time Saturday isn't really good enough.

But- replacing her would mean the BBC admitting they made a mistake. So- as she's not dreadful, she'll hang on- but that's not a ringing endorsement.

I noticed she interrupted Len last week and he gave her a look. Also she has no compassion when someone is voted out. Its very matter of fact.

I think she's great. The show is 'busy' enough. It doesn't need another HUGE personality. I really like her.

Some people have suggested she go back to the role she had when Bruce was on the show and they put Claudia downstairs with the Judges.

I'd like to see that to compare, but the BBC won't do it because it would look like they have made a mistake and have admitted to it.
Maybe they should alternate the two ladies weekly.

But they'll leave it as it is.

Either way, I'm happy.
I don't have to fast forward because of Bruce's boring banter.

Tess just can't think on her feet. She can't react to other people's jokes and spoils them, eg Claudia and the popcorn, but she ploughs ahead with her scripted jokes even if the moment for them is gone. She just can't cope when a live show goes off script.

She is a big dull dud. Her stock phase seems to be telling the dancers to get their breath back. Stunning dialogue....

i think Tess and Claudia are nice enough people. Yet they're both way out of their depth with this show. Both so wooden and unfunny. Both trying too hard. It's cringe viewing.

I'd like to see a more charismatic presenter like Paul O'Grady take over. He's got personality and is pretty much loved and respected universally.

Claudia was suited by the Strictly mid week show. Tess, ok as a supporting presenter.

The show this year is not great in terms of celebrities. Tonight, Pixie and Frankie (as most weeks) are the best television. Jake's ok also. The rest very forgettable. So, having two struggling presenters, with this bland set of dancers, will do the show no favours at all.

I think they are both great. I think the celebs are brill and it's something I look forward to every weekend. I SO do NOT miss Bruce and NIR do I want a replacement for either of the girls - especially another man!!!!!!
