I wish someone would teach Tess and Claudia how to dance

The way the stumble onto the set every week really annoys me.

Len tried with Claudia
Was a wasted effort

It's because they try and do the stupid bit together like brucie and tess used too and that was awkward enough, instead they should just retime the music so the guys plant them there at the exact moment they address the audience they don't really need to greet each other

I wish somebody would teach them how to wear clothes.
Claudia looked like she was wearing something her daughters had half finished with the scissors. The only good thing about teh Tess dress was the bit of popcorn that fell down it.

I agree totally. I like Claudia very much and am loving her doing the back stage stuff and loved her on ITT but she made no effort at all in those master classes and her pretence at uselessness wasn't funny or self effacing in my opinion.

Even if they refuse to learn to dance they could at least move about the studio with something approximating grace. At times the pair of them move like a couple of drunks.

They don't need to learn to dance, all they need is to learn how to walk gracefully.

The producers just need to ditch that daft attempt at dance at the start, but Ive been saying that for years

Once she skipped on like she had a hobby horse between her legs.

Need to learn how to present first.

Why don't they just have a pro dance to start the show?

Agree with all of that!

Why?

Tess and Claudia aren't paid to dance. Tess is paid to move the show forward and Claudia is paid to banter with the celebs and encourage them.

I'd much rather Claudia be Claudia then some slick, produced machine.

For me its because TV is a visual medium and therefore the aesthetic is important. While I don't really expect either of them to have the deportment of prima ballerinas I do feel that personal presentation is important.

It just seems to me that elegance is as important as other aspects of grooming. So to move clumsily on a plum prime time TV booking seems less than professional.

Having said that if I had the choice of a klutz with Claudia's mind or a dim presenter elegance of a swan I would take the former.

Claudia could come on line dancing in a potato sack and still be ace. I love her. Can't stand Tess, but Claudia's presence makes her more bearable.

Just goes to show both of them must have no real love for dancing . If I was in their shoes presenting a prime show like SCD I would love to learn all the dances and have some knowledge of Ballroom and Latin and not come out with the same crass statements week after week telling the celebs they were amazing, when they clearly were not .

You're not alone!

I know the shows not supposed to be about the presenters but anybody doing that job needs to know a little bit about dancing and they need to be able to walk on confidently, smartly and look professional. They need to be able to make appropriate comments and offer encouragement without trying to steal the limelight.

It's like newsreaders they're our link to the news that's all. We don't want them laughing and joking and drawing attention to themselves ..... Just give us the news clearly and accurately.

Claudia crashes on like the female version of Norman Wisdom and Tess just looks bored.

The judges can dance and look where that has led to! Horror at the beginning of each show. It's safer to leave Tess and Claudia the way they are.
