If Steph's rebound vote is big enough for her to avoid bottom 2/3 next week, then we are looking at a Stevi & Jay bottom 2, with Chloe/OTY also in danger if it's a bottom 3.

Who knows, maybe someone will bomb next week and lose loads of votes.

That's really interesting. And clearly pretty damn accurate in reflecting the voting patterns. I do wonder if Stevi is one of those outliers, where his online popularity doesn't reflect how his voting tallies go. People voting for a 'joke' act may not be inclined to follow them on FB or Twitter. I seem to recall that Christopher Malony's voting didn't particularly reflect his online popularity, which was constantly low, and yet he sailed through week after week.

I do think Steph is on borrowed time, it'll just be a question of which acts join her at the bottom next week. Would love for this exercise to be repeated next weekend. I just wonder which of the cumulative total or just the amounts gained over a specific week are more relevant? With Overload gone, do their voters move to Stereo Kicks - which is, presumably, what Simon was gunning for here. He seemed so anti-Overload, that it sounded like he was deeply pissed off there were 2 boybands in the competition, effectively splitting the tween voters, who'd normally flock to support just one.

My predictions for next week, Steph back in the sing-off (definitely going this time round), Only The Young eliminated automatically, and potentially Jay James as the other sing-off person. I'd much prefer it to be Jay, Chloe and Stevi to be down there, but I don't think I'm that lucky!

I doubt it will be a double elimination next week, might be 3 weeks before the next one

I don't think they'll wait that long at all. In order to get to their December finale with 3 contestants, they need 3 double eliminations at the least. I think the first two weeks' live shows are double eliminations, simply because it gets the numbers down to a manageable level very quickly, and reduces the running time of the show by a decent chunk. I don't think they want a 2+ hour show for weeks on end, getting under 12 contestants inside 3 weeks of live shows would be their aim, I think. Having the first 3 weeks being double eliminations gets rid of a few of the non-starters very quickly.

Facebook likes seem to be a good indicator of the bottom, but not the top because it doesn't consider volume.

But if it correctly predicts the bottom, then those at the top are less likely to be in the bottom, no?

Are the ones on top In FB REALLY on top in the votes? At the top, volume is king.

The Facebook votes are a good indicator of the publics feelings,

But then the shows manipulators will move in with their press allies and change a lot of that to their advantage. Even if the public refuse to play along we all know what happened with 1D. It takes serious cash to promote a winner.

If syco dont like them theyre toast. Sorry Matt and Joe.

Fleur floundering after a strong showing last week. I had a feeling that song may not do her any favours this week. I'm hoping she'll get through this week, though.

I think we need to wait a while until we judge the facebook likes this week as they could all change.

I hope they do as this has made me worried for Fleur.

Oh dear. Those results suggest it's going to be another one of those "eliminate all but one of the girls immediately" series. Even OTY don't escape their wrath.
