Can you imagine the reaction if they recast Nick?

Not just a re-cast, but a total reboot of the character. Thirty years younger, mixed race, etc. They essentially get a slightly older Fatboy to play him, and then retcon it so that they turn out to be father and son, and so Fatboy was actually Dot's grandson all along.

I agree. You can just smell it in the air. Dot hasn't got herself a new grandson, daughter-in-law and great-grandson for no reason. Nick is going to go bye-bye

That's it! goodness Dot looks young there and so does Nick, I remember these scenes and the ones that followed with Nick looking more and more desperate and greasy!
