....But in a young persons body! Do you get what I mean?

Ever since she first appeared in Eastenders, she reminded me of someone in her mid 40's but in a young person's body or face and maybe what I'm saying is that I've met/seen plenty of women who look like her and have her kind of personality but are in their mid 40's.

Have any of you had the same kind of thoughts including on a subconscious basis?

No. I wasn't commenting on her look in that way either. Plenty of stunning 40 somethings out there too.

Doesn't sound like that to me.

So you didn't get the point, so let me put it another way for you. To me she's always looked and "acted" (has the personality) older than she is but then again I have to go back to one of my original points that I've come across loads of people in their mid 40's who either look like her, have her kind of personality or both.

It's the bags under her eyes.

I get what you mean Styker. She comes across like she's older beyond her years. Her mannerisms, her relationships and is always the dominant person in a conversation. She even seems like she's actually Lily's mum and has been for years even though Lily is three

I'm glad someone does. Maybe the others haven't met or come across many 40 somethings yet. Her whole personality seems to be like someone in their mid 40's. Maybe in part its because EE have given her serious heavy duty storylines instead of acting like a young teeny bob type.

I think they originally cast Lacey for this reason. She had to act like someone who was a world-weary adult in the body of a teenage girl.

She's always been a bit of a 'boyish' girl as well (she is gay, is that right?) and that can sometimes make a girl seem older. Not sure...?

The plus side is that she hardly looks any different from her original stint on the show!

No she was married to a man and had an affair with his dad.

I agree with the first part of what you wrote though.

Not sure I understand exactly what you mean.

Lacey does totally transcend the other actresses her age though, so...

The only thing I ever noticed about Lacey Turner is that she seems to support a worried expression in every scene, even in Our Girl. Very odd.

she had also been looking after Jean on her own having to be an adult whilst still a child, thats probably why she comes across as the op suggests in her attitude. she can also be like a stroppy child at times which will come from not having a proper childhood

I don't think she looks in a physical way as a 40yr okd including mannerisms.

Her features and general look not the condition of her looks reminds me of a 40 something. Even more so in her scenes with the weird messed up git Dean the other day.

She seems far older than her years because of the life experiences he has gone through.

Put that mind in the body of a young Goddess and you only have one thing.

HOT!

I was always wondering how she would look when she returned she looks way older than mid 20s.

Problem is that jacqueline jossa now has the hot female role that lacey turner had 6 or 7 years ago., this contributes as to how much older she looks I think

As lacey turner had the jossa role in the past

She seems to have aged a lot since her last stint. She has a smokers face and the bags under her eyes have worsened. Shocked she us just 26 years old.

But yes, I still would.

I'll have Lacey over Jossa any day, though if she would have me is a different matter
