It sounds similar to last year's Birmingham caravan show task where each team sold some cheap items and one big-ticket item.

We know Tenacity wins this task. Daniel was seen selling hats / bags, so the other team members were probably selling the high end item.

I think that one of the teams was selling wooden buildings (stables, barns, etc) which can cost up to £4000, but it depends too on what the other team sells.

Someone tweeted during the filming that one team was selling a 'hat bag and a bike thing'. Surely Tenacity?

So Summit must be selling these buildings that frally speaks of? Maybe they fail to shift any.

What is Task 10 by the way? Didn't someone say it was some Event themed task?

What about the reinvestment task? I guess we aren't getting one, wjich surprises me as I thought it was a staple task since the format change. I guess the producers deemed it too boring...

We don't know which team is selling the buildings.

Moreover, the other team may have an even more expensive high end item.

Just caught a new trailer for the upcoming NYC task.

Some new clips:

Sanjay complaining over the phone that he wasn't getting much feedback from any of them (those in NY)

Daniel mentioning "water" in Tenacity's brainstorming session

James conducting a taste testing in NYC and talking about passionfruit, guava and (sounded like) dragonfly(?)

Bianca jokingly telling James (with Solly) to stick to the script before their big presentation

Looks like Lauren will be leading Tenacity's big pitch, together with Mark and Felipe - perhaps that's why she gets canned?

Yeah, that is this trailer:

The most interesting part of the episode will be the preview for the next task (if I spot the correct tie on his Lordship, then I can already tell you what the big surprise will be in the boardroom; unless there are several surprises, lol).

So what's the surprise?

A landslide victory for Team Tenacity.

I am not sure whether someone has posted this before. Below is from The Sunday Times:

"It is week seven, and 10 candidates are left, of whom only four are women - a repetition of last year's all-female final is looking unlikely. Lord Sugar's latest challenge is to launch a soft drink in the American market, and in an arrangement clearly designed to ensure transatlantic friction, three of each team fly to New York to pitch their product to experts and create a commercial while the remaining two stay sulking in Britain concocting the drink and devising the packaging.

Bianca leads the Summit quintet, who go for a passion fruit-based energy drink called Big Dawg, while Mark's Tenacity team call their health drink Aquafusion. From the choice of the project leaders' sidekicks in the Big Apple onwards, so many blatant mistakes are made that Sugar - who is particularly scornful in the boardroom inquest - could justifiably opt for another triple firing."

Aquafusion seems to be a better name than Big Dawg. Are you all sure that Lauren is going this week?

Positive! Even if someone messed up the photos for Week 8 and Lauren was just missed out, preview clips for Week 8 clearly put Felipe, Mark, Katie and Daniel as a Tenacity team of 4 for the Week 8 task. Lauren going fits with everything we know, plus last week's episode seemed to set up her exit.

Personally, I think Big Dawg might appeal to the American market; it seems more in line with the unorthodox big idea style of branding that's more common over there. Aquafusion could well be perceived as boring.

Both names are horrible to be honest. Big Dawg would be a lot more suitable name if it was burger or hotdog. Aquafusion is more connotative with a cleaning product for me anyway.

Mark is going to be knocked down a peg or two.. this will be interesting.

I think someone said on another thread on DS that, You're Fired is filmed on a Sunday, so could this mean Daniel is Fired tonight?

Laurens team must lose because in the preview last week it showed her team on the right then it showed her sitting down on the left side of the boardroom. Plus part of the task seems to be about the advert they make. The previews show Sugar saying the advert was a joke so he could be referring to Laurens team. Pretty sure they showed a clip of Sanjay saying his teams advert was boring as well and usually in advert task the one who keeps it safe and is so called boring usually wins rather than the other team who takes a risk of trying to make the advert funny.

Daniel cannot be fired tonight. He is seen in multiple tasks beyond this one. Lauren is fired; no one else can be fired.

James better go next week - otherwise it would be the biggest tragedy since...well,ever.

I think he was telling Mark that and they were messing with the camera angles (wouldn't be the first time, e.g. in series 7 a preview showed Zoe arguing with Susan when she was really arguing with Melody).

No way that happens.

Has anyone ever done 2 on the trot though?

But then Mark steps in and says 'You're not the PM, he is' so that suggests to me that Felipe is indeed PM. He hasn't taken a turn as PM since week one so it makes sense that he wants to do it again.

It's Daniel that says that, not Mark. Unless my eyes deceived me.
