Well that's an interesting point. The traditional contestant who gets ripped apart in the interviews.
For some reason I can see Daniel fitting that bill perfectly.

Unless he wants to fire Daniel - but how does he know which team will win?

There's a big problem lurking in here with these multiple firings. He used up 3 when two would have done, left one when two should have gone on merit, and now has to fire two - even if only one deserves it. He's potentially going to have to fire one of his 3 top performers as a result - and possibly send one of his 2 best proposals home because they lose on a cooking task that may not be related to anything (see next post) . it just distorts things.

BBC clip makes it seem like Katie is PM, though wikipedia says Mark and Bianca. Wikipedia, as we know, is not a reliable source. It also says Summit win.

Did someone post, somewhere, that Roisin was proposing something to do with food? Or is my brain failing? Her CV says she wants to start a business, and has someone who started a drinks company as a role model.

I was just wondering why they have a food design, production and marketing task. We haven't seen anything that otherwise tested her skills in her proposed field , and this seems irrelevant to the others too. He has seen enough to know Roisin has general ability, but whats tested what she looks like doing whats specific to her proposal? We have seen Solomon's skills kinda tested with the internet advertising/youtube , Bianca got to show her branding and presentation skills and won as PM on a task that needed them, Ella failed her film making test. Daniel was written off as having none of the skills he claimed, but may have a recovery story, Sanjay has no recovery story. His Lordship seemed to doubt Marks skills. Mark avoided being PM when he was more equipped to be it , and inflated his claim to be PM when he was one. He seems to have missed the exam. Katie has got to show of her training skills on video, and ticked most boxes on her ability to sell, organise and understand business strategy.

Is this Roisin's task? if so, is she going to win if she passes, or go home because failing on your proposed topic is fatal? Equally would 2 PM wins make Katie look the right candidate on management skill and being able to do what she says she can - even if he wants nothing to do with fitness?

Maybe he doesn't fire both from the losing team but also randomly fires one from the winning team because they have done something majorly wrong?

Yes, I said that. I had to use some detective work - if you look at her Twitter profile, she claims to be a food entrepreneur and is clearly into it - despite being an accountant. This week (Week 10) is Premium Puddings. I suspect she'll be PM (as she's the only candidate asides from Mark that's won as a PM) against Katie (whom hasn't been PM for seven weeks and was originally against her in week three) or Mark (who hasn't yet had a PM win). I suspect Lord Sugar will appoint her PM as well, to see if she succeeds or fails (if she fails, LS will be less than impressed and she'll be likely to go, as with Ella Jade).

That being said, I still want Katie to win. She seems to have initiative, be upbeat and alert and hasn't made any serious mistakes so far.

If that's true I swear to god it better be Sanjay and Daniel.

I don't think anybody will destroy Mark. Stand out candidate of the series... in my opinion

Why does everyone here seem to think that Summit will lose the next task?

I think Summit will win (quite a few clues, but I'll leave you to find them

Katie is my top pick to be fired from Tenacity, with Sanjay second.

Personally, I think Summit will win, but I want Tenacity to. Katie's my favourite candidate and has been from the beginning. I think she's just had a few dud weeks (New York, Board game, etc.) though is the most consistent. Summit I think have an advantage as they have more people and I think Roisin's PM (her business plan involves food). And so is Katie, as proved by this clip (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02dgxj9). Summit also have a generally stronger team - Bianca, the now favourite to win (though wouldn't have been a few weeks ago!), Roisin, and Solomon. Only downside is Daniel though previews indicate he won't be as much of a delusional dick as he has been.

If Summit lose, Daniel and someone else (I think Solomon) will be fired (double firing).
If Tenacity lose, Sanjay and most likely Katie will be fired.

Roisin and Katie are the PM's on this task.

Also, the Karren remark in the boardroom ("it's disgusting etc.....") is aimed towards Katie (you can see the top of Roisin's head).

(If that turns out to be true then) Yeah. That's unfortunate, I really liked Katie. I think she'll get one of those "lost the passion she displayed earlier in the process" firings, with regret.

Sanjay will go too.

Indeed. And that Wikipedia entry from last week (which was quickly deleted) was completely wrong about who was fired - they didn't even identify someone from the losing team!

I wouldn't take anything on Wikipedia for granted, and certainly not until Sunday, which is when You're Fired is filmed, which should be the first time any member of the general public gets to see it. (They're asked not to reveal the result on social media, but there's often some idiot who does.)

Reviewers get advance previews, of course, depending on when their publishing deadlines are. (As a web reviewer, I get access on Friday afternoons.) But no credible reviewer would leak the result of the task online.

Do you have inside knowledge? Have seen you make other cryptic posts.

If you do, then the final will probably be between Mark and Bianca (the latter being already rumoured based mostly on twitter activity). Roisin is the best candidate and will come out of this looking the best (in terms of offers and audience reception) whatever happens.

Also, Daniel has gone on holiday this weekend, so it seems like he makes the interview round and Summit win the task. Unless, Lord Sugar decides to fire Solomon and Roisin, but that seems very unlikely (and would probably cause a big controversy the second week running).

Does not mean Summit win, Roisin is PM so might get fired because she did a poor job/task is based on her business idea, and Soloman might be piss poor again. I mean Daniel might have a great business idea or he could do well in the task and not brought back to the BR even if they lose.

After last week, there is no doubt that if Daniels in the boardroom next week, he's fired. I simply cannot see BOTH Solomon (why do people hate him all of a sudden) and Roisin being fired but who goes with Sanjay if Tenacity lose? It's not an easy call.

Btw Frally, if you're reading this, what are the clues that Summit win?

Agreed, if Daniel is in the boardroom then he will surely be fired (other option is that Roisin has a meltdown and decides to sent him back to the house).

These rumours about Bianca are still to be taken with a grain of salt, but I do believe that she and Daniel (and perhaps Mark) are the two likeliest candidates for the interviews (based on the info so far).

All season we've been talking about Bianca as a possible finalist, but it just occured to me that I don't have any idea why she's presumed to be in the final?

Is it because she apparently returned to Twitter late, because it just dawned on me that everyone still in the competition at this point probably didn't go home until after the final. (The interviews must take a day tops, then they'd all be back to help in the final anyway, so they'd likely just stick around the house until it's all over)

Someone came onto the thread and said that she makes the Final Two as well.

Seems odd. Is she meant to have gone back on twitter late when they filming? Katie never mentions the show when I looked more recently , and someone (Roisin? ) had her tweets protected when I looked if I recall.

When was/is the final - has he told them, or left them to stew as the show was delayed?

I just can't see any credibility in a final thats missing one of the two good performers - let alone both. You are left with the invisible, the useless, the disruptive, Mark the Machiavelian , and Bianca with little success to show, and multiple howlers. The disconnect between the show and the conclusion would be horrible.

Don't take my word on it! I just couldn't remember the reason why we all thought Bianca was potentially in the final. The Twitter thing may be correct, or it may be something I somehow thought was the case!

If I'm not mistaken, it's from a post early in this thread from someone with "knowledge" that she made the final. Probably the same type of "knowledge" that the people who posted last year saying Neil and Alex were the final 2 were blessed with

Heh, quite. Obviously some people do know but at this stage anyone who's saying they know who one or both of the finalists are is either someone in the know who shouldn't be talking or someone talking who isn't in the know.

As a reviewer, I've known the identity of the final five since watching the episode on Friday, but that's it. A few hundred more who watched the filming of You're Fired this afternoon will also know now. Everyone else who does know are people (candidates, production team, PR) who are contractually obliged to keep things secret.
