Did we know Mark? Someone posted in like week 3/4 that Bianca made the final, I never saw it for Mark

Even Claude thought that Mark was another Ricky, which is what I've been saying.

Bianca is just there with her tights idea to sex up the final presentation as Mark's will be quite boring otherwise.

I'm pretty sure Mark will win.

I am gonna stay out of here from now on, don't want the final spoiled for me!

Lord Sugar has already registered with Companies House one of the finalist's businesses (don't look if you don't want to know) -

Well-spotted!

But even without that piece of info, I was pretty sure that candidate would win anyway once Roisin's BP was announced and I correctly guessed that candidate's BP.

Argh might miss the final then, just to see Marks smug face just makes me vomit

I can see why Lord Sugar did chose that candidate though. He has knowledge within that market and it is quite lucrative. So in the end, minimizes the risk for him coughing up for £250,000.

Which is what going into business is essentially about.

The potential synergies with Amscreen could also be very exciting.

Ha, oops.

The only thing that gives me pause about this is the fact that all previous winner's companies weren't registered until after (or very close to - I didn't bother to check the dates) their respective finals aired. I don't see why Mark's would get registered in June, shortly after the final was filmed.

*shrug* Maybe my skepticism is just confirmation bias.

Oh FFS.

Sorry, I know I should have known better than to look in the thread, but thankfully the posters about you were extra cautious to put the result in spoiler tags and then you just went and wrote it anyway!!

LOL.

It is the "SPOILER" thread. You cannot complain about getting spoiled if you willingly enter a thread dedicated to spoilers.

Logic, people. Please.

I can't see where Marks costs are. All l he needs is a laptop and a car and some advertising. It looks like money for minimal outlay. Bianca needs outlays on a product. manufacturing, stock, distribution, storage and to break into the market.

But is money for nothing doing something ultimately pointless- like playing with search engine results s- omething his Lordship feels proud of doing? Last year would suggest yes.

I see your point, but it is very rare that we get the outright result, and if we did each week I wouldn't take part.

Can definitely see Lord Sugar going with Mark as the overheads are so low. My son works for a company who are already in this sector & the guy who started the company 5 years ago began from his bedroom using his laptop. He now has premises in 3 countries employing 400 people! Therefore does Mark really need £250k?

The investment would be brilliant for Bianca & I would like her to win, but I have a funny feeling Sugar will go with the area he already has an interest in? That said, I suspect someone will come forward & get Bianca's new business off the ground because it could be incredibly lucrative all round.

You are right, they usually register after the show finished, this could be a some kind of loser deal with Lord Sugar like Susan Ma's Tropic Skincare but they didn't register that deal until later than Tom Pellereau's winning company.

Maybe because this series was pushed back in the year to stop a clash with the World Cup, they may have then decided they couldn't wait that long and got on with the registration there and then. They might have liked the name so much they wanted to protect it.

The domain name climb-online.com was taken in June also (details of ownership hidden)- https://who.is/whois/climb-online.com

Well I'd feel it to be a waste of a series if AS takes up Mark's business proposal.
All the talk AS gives during the series about creativity, entrepreneurialism, claculated risk, originality and all the 'tests' the candidates are apparently undertaking throughout the series, and he just goes for the really safe option of just doing some idea that some bloke has copied from somewhere where he worked before.
That would be so crushingly disappointing and would go against much of what AS has said throughout the series to the candidates.

But I suppose as a poster above suggested, business can be very boring in reality. And I guess we have to remind ourselves that the show is just that, a 'show'. Not reality.

I thought the actual winner of the 2 finalists was not told themselves until a day or so before the final is broadcast. And also how do we know that the other finalist's company and domain name isn't registered too?

Can I be really thick and ask how we know the company registered is actually Mark's? I see the Sugar connection, but why couldn't this be another company altogether?

Regardless of whether she wins or not, Bianca's proposal seems to be going ahead, judging by this new website and twitter page:

Lord Sugar could have invested in both.

He did the same with Susan / Tom.

So could have done it for Bianca / Mark. In terms of the show a Bianca win is great. As Mark is similar to 2.0 Ricky. However, Lord Sugar might want to go with Mark off screen as he like's those types of candidates.
