Will Jim's funeral be one of the live "segments" during EastEnders' 30th? I'd like to see the EastEnders cast coming together for it to celebrate not only Jim, but John Bardon of course. It would be a truly beautiful scene.

A funeral should not be for tvsoap viewing, its a private thing. But I would like to see a tribute or something for him on EE, like they had for Betty Driver on CS

I'd prefer Jim to get his own week away from the anniversary so that he, Dot and the Brannings can be the main focus. I think March would be good time to do it, when things have settled down after the anniversary.

Well, DTC has already confirmed Dot will have a major part in the 30th, so surely there wouldn't be a better time to do it than that week.

Me too. I feel that it should simply be a tribute to Jim/John Bardon rather than a bit part of the 30th celebrations. And having Jim's funeral during "live bits week" would feel a bit too sensationalist considering John's RL death.
