I voted 7 it has its funny moments its just unfortunate the only real storyline is who killed tina and I already know so lost interest. however am interested in peter and robs exits

Corrie feels so dull at the moment, there is no engaging plots, characters lack any decent writing, most of the newbies are shit, it like watching a snail at slow pace boring and uninteresting if I'm honest at times.

i voted 7. corrie isn't firing on all cylinder's at present but neither is it as bad as many would like you to believe. everyone has a right to their opinion, but rating it 2 and 3? come on!
corrie has a fair bit going for it, carla and roys friendship, tim and sally, steve's depression, the trial. rob and tracey luv and the ordinaryness of the street, the mundane, the little scenes with mary, emily, norris, eileen and deirdre. corrie still has warmth and charm.

I rated 5.
It used to be my favourite soap and I'd look forward to every single episode but Stuart Blackburn has absolutely destroyed it and it's virtually unrecognisable these days, it's almost a chore to watch sometimes. I much prefer Emmerdale (which, incidentally I hated when SB was in charge of too...)
Serious overhaul is needed.

BiB - these are all the things I love too, and it's only because of them I could give it a 4.
I just loathe all the Nazirs and Andrea/Lloyd have no time for Maddeh & Sawphie, hate Liz and Tony, despise Sean, can't stand Beth or Kirky, fall asleep every time Sinead or Chez appear and all of these are getting way too much screen time for me.
5! There's only one thing that's better about Coronation Street than EastEnders, and that's they have more long serving cast members, the amont of new faces on Easties is a ****ing joke!

I'm sorry but it's SO boring, it was exceptional in 2013, and completely trod on EastEnders like a giant treading on an ant (which I hated because I'm a HUGE EE fan, and EE has ALWAYS been better, except for 2011-2013), but Corrie completely overtook EE in 2013! The start was amazing! The Rovers fire, Tyrone's abuse, etc... The middle of the year was a little bit wobbly, but then we had the amazing and heartbreaking Roy and Hayler storyline, which is like the only good thing Blackburn has done, as the rovers fire and Turones abuse were under Collinson! Anyway, since Hayley's death early this year, the show has completely spiraled out of control! The characters are vile, no one smiles, the viewing figures are shocking compared to a year ago, the Tina storyline was never interesting and it still isn't now! Peters trial in corrie, compared to Charity's storyline in Emmerdale this week, is absolutely pathetic! Both actors are leaving and are open to a return, so I doubt their exits will be Hollywood style death! Everythingn else about the show is just awful!
