Motorola Mobility is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lenovo, having been sold by Google. The Motorola brand will continue. Google had completed their purchase of Motorola Mobility in May 2012 but now do not own any part of it.
There is an email alert service offering notification of Motorola Lollipop updates for the handsets due to receive it, including the Moto G, Moto X, Moto E along with a couple of non-GSM Droid models. |
