Internet Dropping Out
Hi
Ever since I made the from to BT Infinity Option 2, my internet is constantly dropping out. Both over ethernet and wifi. This has in the past happened with a BT Home Hub 2,3,4 and 5. Its still happening with a Netgear Nighthawk. I have an iMac, Panasonic TV, Panasonic Blu Ray Player, PS3, Onkyo Amp, Apple Tv and Sky HD Box all connected via ethernet. I have an iPad, iPhone, 2 x Samsung Galaxy S4's and a Dell Laptop all connected via wifi. All these devices arent always connected to the internet. On most days there would be an iMac, Sky HD Box, iPhone and 2 x Samsung Galaxy S4's connected to the internet at the same time. Ive had numerous BT engineers sent out in the past to check the fone line, BT cabinet and other BT points in the cul de sac. Everything has always checked out fine. Im at a loss as to why my internet connection is still dropping out. My download speed is around 34 mbps and my upload speed is around 8 mbps. Anyone got any ideas or explanations as to why Im getting internet dropouts? Thanks Baz |

My Infinity broadband still loses its connection the odd time. It's just recovered from a loss of connection about 5 minutes ago. If it's BT rebooting their network or whatever, why can't they do this through the night? FTTC is way too fast to be left downloading through the night. The days of downloading through the night should be over now with FTTC. Unless it's a firmware issue in the router.
