Is it just me or is this really lazy writing? On the 28th May, at half 8, surely it would still be light? (Roy saying he saw Peter going into Tina's at 8:30), but it was actually pitch black, and had been for ages?:/

Indeed, on 28th May the sun didn't set until nearly an hour later.

The scenes were obviously filmed two months before but it does seem silly for them to draw attention to something like this. The show has enough issues with continuity/SOR at the moment that it is ignorant to without deliberating creating any more.
