When he called in the extra 4 they should have been previous candidates. 4 that he wanted to invite back and were willing to return

That's what I was expecting too would have been unique just as a 1 off for the 10th series

I'm sure the previous candidates have better things to do.

Why are people being so po-faced about it? my god its only an idea i had, would have been a good twist and a bit of fun imo and a good way to mark 10 series.

It does sound like a clever idea at first glance but it's hardly fair to pitch an experienced candidate in amongst all the novices, and there's nothing in it for those in the last 3 series whose business plans were rejected first time around,

I think it could have been restricted to only candidates from series 1-6 when it was about a job and not a business partner.

I agree that it could have been restricted - but pretty well all of those candidates were after a job and many of them would not be able to set up a new business (or if they were any good then, by now, they should have done.) Some of the best (or most infamous) have set up consultancies (Badger, Azam) or built careers in the media (Khan, Hopkins, Max); there's not a lot there that would interest Lord Sugar.
