So much for him not watching ,he needs to go away.

Strictly Come Dancing 2014 is the WORST EVER SERIES, at least says former pro James Jordan.

The dancer has claimed in a new interview this week that the latest run is struggling… because he’s not there.

That, and the retirement of Sir Bruce Forysth.

James told Closer magazine: “The ratings are down. They’re struggling without Bruce Forsyth hosting or me dancing. It’s the worst Strictly ever.

“I think [Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman] are both amazing but I do believe there should be a man presenting it too.”

At the weekend, James claimed he was “happy” not to be on the show this year after watching some dodgy performances.

“And that’s why I’m happy I’m not back. Nice guy but pathetic idea. Makes a mockery of ballroom and Latin,” he said referring to Mark Wright’s Pasodoble.

However while James is gone, his wife Ola is still on the show… although she’s not sure for how long.

“I don’t know if I’ll come back. This is my ninth series doing the show and I’ve always said I’d do 10 but now I’m not sure,” she said.

And the sexy performer, paired with Steve Backshall, added: “You work with the partner you’re given. I didn’t expect Steve but I was pleased to get him.

“Am I confident about him in the competition? Um. Yeah.”

He should be talking to ITV with his ideas.

Unfortunately as he's not suffixed any of his statements with "FACT!" it's impossible to tell the sincerity or veracity of his comments.

James is hilarious the ratings are comfortably over nine million ain't they? Two million above The X Factor too. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Ola was gone next year.

I believe they were careless with Bruce and Artem leaving not to try to preserve more continuity. In my opinion, more effort should have been made to keep James in house (ITT?) and to retain Anya as a dancer.

Plus they've gone slick with the pro dance techno-palaver, which adds to a feeling of straying away from the core idea.

Personally, I think Arty's departure is key. A lot of people watched for him. But it's early in the series... Way too early to call it a success or a dud.

Can't say I'm missing Artem or James. And I'm certainly not missing Bruce.

Of course James is going to stick his oar in - he was the Brad Pitt of Strictly. How else will he earn his keep? Expect more not less.

Viewing figures are down across the board. I don't think it's because Brucie and James are no longer with us. Could be everyone is pining for Artem and Robin lol.

I think this series will pick up in about five weeks time when the duffers are dispatched. Often the duffers add a comedic touch to proceedings and one looks forward to their antics but this year they are just 'nice' but dire on the dance floor.

Thus far Strictly has been less fun than I can remember but the top 5 are capable of producing dance magic so I suspect the final half of this series could well be the best ever.

Here's hoping!

Well, of course we don't know what he really said, but this fits with the quotes from CBB, so I suppose it might be true.

James and Ola needed to decide before the series began if they were in it or not. I would completely understand and respect Ola going if James couldn't be in it, but attacking a show his wife is part of I have no time for. And I'll admit that's 95% because it's so unfair on Steve, who deserves to have a partner who is completely committed to the show, and I don't see how she can be when her husband is so invested in this series being a flop.

If Ola was no longer in the show I'd think he was free to say as he wants. I don't agree with him about Brucie and I haven't missed James at all, but he's free to have his own opinion. And I'm free to think him a twit.

James showed his true colours on CBB, arrogant, boorish, narcissistic and aggressive, and that was with the cameras on him. I can only imagine how bad he was behind the scenes at Strictly. He's an utter bellend, and a nasty one at that. His seething jealousy of Kevin is good laugh though, I bet he and Karen have a much more pleasant working environment now James has gone...

No professional dancer is bigger than this show, they've lost far bigger names than Artem and James and the show has survived perfect well without them. Camilla, Ian, Erin, Matt, Brian, Vincent and Flavia just to name a few. The idea that people only turned in to watch Artem is completely laughable, and he was nowt special anyway. Unless you like your men to look like melted down Ken Dolls....

He was more than that! He's the self-declared 'Brad Pitt of dance'.

Aww bless.
Was Mark Wrights paso any more making a mockery out of Latin or Ballroom than Chris Parker running round with a cape like a tablecloth or anything that went on in The James Years?
Was the mockery more or less than Victoria Pendleton on an ET Flying bike, or DVO being carried on stage in a chair seat, or Ashley Taylor Dawson looking like he wanted to fling himself off a flying carpet or anything Widdy did?

Agree. I'm missing none of them. James should go away and do some dancing rather than moaning.
BTW I now think of him as Pyjamas Jordan since my autocorrect changed James to Pyjamas! He's sat in his PJs annoyingly tweeting away!

Aside from the FACT that he is totally deluded, this is selfish behaviour, he's going to get his wife fired.

CBB confirmed to me that James is exactly the nasty, bitter person he always came over as when on Strictly. He was sacked from Strictly and his wife will be at the end of this season - if she doesn't resign first.

Sigh....I like James but he needs to shut up sometimes....

Im sure that Ola will be thanking him when they wont probably ask her to come back next year ; I dont know why he doesnt seem to realize that whatever he says also affect his wife who is still on the show and who has to work every day with these people.

Poor Ola
