Who was in the wrong?

Did he have the right to tell everyone to be silent while he pitched? Even if things weren't going well?

Or was the guy who spoke up in the wrong for disobeying him?

I think the guy interrupting was wrong. They agreed before they went in that the one guy was going to do the pitch (early days so forgive me for not knowing the names yet), and it wasn't like he was floundering and needed to be rescued.

So, you could probably forgive the first time, enthusiasm and all that, but he kept doing it, making them all look like twonks.

The guy who kept butting was totally in the wrong.

Of course, in a normal world, you wouldn't have to have all 5 people in the pitch, crowded around one small table!

To do it correctly (Not that that has any chance of happening) the 'interrupter' should have allowed the 'pitcher' to finish his pitch and then said "...and if I might add XYZ"

In this case the pitcher was useless and the other one just wanted to take over.

It seems as if yet again, people don't understand that working as a team is the best way to get to the final, not showing off your individual talents .

James (The butter) was totally in the wrong, it was agreed the other guy was going to do the Pitch yet James still had to get his say to prove he was doing something.

The only time it's even vaguely acceptable to interrupt a pitch is when it's floundering so badly that it's obviously going to end in zero sales, by which point you've basically got nothing to lose. The pitch in yesterday's episode wasn't anywhere near that point (or at least didn't appear to be), yet James still barged in.

I agree that James shouldn't have been butting in as much as he did, but the way the other guy reacted and started telling him off like a child was more unprofessional in my view. He made the situation look worse than it was - James didn't actually hinder. In fact, I thought he helped.

Butting in was wrong particular as they agreed to have one person dealing with the pitch but at the same time it was totally unprofessional how he was dealt with in my opinion, I don't care what the circumstances are you shouldn't just tell someone of in front of who you are pitching to, wait til the end or if they are being particularly disruptive then maybe ask one of their team to take them aside to remove them from the situation.

I think that it's kinda difficult to assess as we didn't see how well Marks pitch was going before James cut in. Personally, I felt more for Mark as he did tell the others not to jump in beforehand and James just disregarded this.

On the other hand my friend watching it supported James more so I don't think it was meant to be clear cut either way.

I think James was only butting in because he felt Mark was being a bit rubbish. They clearly had very different approaches to selling & James was far more chatty & persuasive, while Mark took the softly, softly approach. James did sound a little bit rude, but then Mark sounded ruder chastising him - resulting in the whole team looking unproffessional. So they were both at fault.
I do have some sympathy for James though, I'd have been equally frustrated if I felt I could do better. These days it seems that shouting the loudest and talking over people is a sign of power, as demonstrated frequently in the boardroom. Hardly any of them can reign it in and have to be told when to "SHUT UP!"
