She was very funny on Comic Relief when she said- 'Now keep voting' and then realised she wasnt on BB and changed it to 'Now keep calling and donating'

Well done for starting this thread, Davina gets a lot of stick around here that she doesn't deserve and it's good to see people sticking up for her.

I love her, shes my favourite presenter and I can't wait to see more of her when BB starts again this year.
(I'm still missing the last one! They'd better hurry up and start the new series!)

Im shocked that people think that it is all Davina's fault if an interview is sh*t. It's also to do with the interviewee, the crowd in the cas of BB5, and mainly the producers.

I agree, I cant imagine an eviction night without "big brother house this is Davina, you are live on channel 4 please do not swear"

I think Davina is great and BB wouldn't be the same without her.

I can imagine it without that last bit...Worst. Catchphrase. Ever. Especially last year, when it was on after 9pm...and literally seconds before, clips with HMs swearing were shown What was wrong with "You are live on Channel 4" on its own, or like the old days: "Big Brother House, this is Davina, can you hear me?!" HM: "Yeeeeeeeaaaaaahhh, hello Davina!"

I think Davina is great too, ive liked her since hers days on gods gift!!!!

I went to opening show last year and she is so down to earth but scatty at the same time, im not saying that all of her interviews are good but i think she is such a huge BB fan that she sometimes forgets shes supposed to be neutral.

BB wouldnt be the same without her.

Great thread emah, there's usually so much b****iness about Davina on here that it's fantastic to see support for her.

I think that Davina is a fabulous presenter, she is really enthusiastic about everything she does and she's a really lovely friendly down-to-earth person, which came across on Popstars the Rivals, you could see she really cared about the contestants.

I have Davina's autograph, my parents wrote to someone to get it - I'll get back to you later when I've asked them where they wrote to - they're at work at the mo.

I can't wait to see Davina on our screens again for BB6. I have GCSE's too - but BB comes 1st of course!!

My Mum says that she wrote to ITV but this was ages ago when Davina was doing Popstars:The Rivals. I think your best bet would be to write to C4 as Davina does BB now as her main programme. You get a signed photo of Davina

she is a simpering **** who upstaged sam by wearing a bikini. gutless at asking the right questions or commenting...........she will prob not tell science about the scabgate item when he goes out.

If belittling evicted HMs is your scene,then she's great.
If snidey sexual innuendos is also your thing,then yes she's great.
If asking people to boo is ok,then she's fantastic!

For all my fellow Davina lovers that haven't heard yet, Davina is in a new sitcom, "A Bear's Tail" straight after Friday's 2nd Eviction show - playing a man, Dave Ian McCall!

She is also presenting a new show in late August - "He's having a Baby" more here

I really feel for Davina. Anchoring live TV is a rare skill, and every housemate, naturally, is going to behave differently when they leave. She simply has to guess, before they have even been evicted whether they are going to cry if they are booed, or be strong, or refuse to be interviewed.

She is enthusiastic about her job If yo think she is abd, take a look at Julie f****** Chen from US BB, she is like a cardboard cutout with moving lips.

Davina has an earpiece in. They scream at her down it. They tell her what to say. She is not allowed to stop the interivews. On Friday night, they were 10 minutes behind schedule, she didn't even have time to let Eugene see the crowd, let alone top the booing to lecture them on why they shouldn't boo. She was obviously under a lot of pressure to get the interview finished, I don't think she did anythinhg different. She told her it was all a panto and tried to get on with the interview so that she could announce the winner without the TV schedule for the rest of the night being delayed further.

She is a good presenter who loves her job. I am a Makosi fan, and voted for her to win, but I don't feel any hatred towards Davina.

SO, BASICALLY, SHUT THE F*** UP, AND LAVE HER ALONE, YOU TRY ANCHORING A B****Y 2 HOUR FINALE WITH A PRODUCER SHOUTING DOWN YOUR EAR TO EGT IT OVER AND DONE WITH!

She's useless, and should be sacked immediately.

Davina does a great job in incredibly difficult and unpredictable circumstances. Shes just an easy target for people on here when they dont like the outcome.
