It would be nice to be appreciative or have the opportunity to write positive things about anyone on this forum...I tend to stay off the ones that I don't like.......as a matter of curteousy.

DAVINA is cool....she is certainly adept at her job and I enjoy the twinkle in her eye when she is feeling cheeky.

In my opinion, the BBC should hire Davina to present Newsnight. Bet you the viewing figures would improve. Kirsty Wark is too much of a hatchet-faced harridan for TV, she should be on the radio. Imagine if you can Davina raising an quizzical eyebrow at the Israeli ambassador after a stinging question about the implementation of various UN resolutions.

I agree...have seen her at work....and she does a great job.

Those that don't...have you been to an eviction night?....if so, can't you seen how hard she works?....and that's just when we see her during the 2-3 hours of her being there when the crowd is there....we don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

I am hinestly sick to death of hearing Davina being called useless, pointless rubbish and the rest. People think it's OK to tell Davina to f*** off out of Elstree and not come back, but when I say it back to those who are saying it, then they moan about it!

Possibly because you say it to everybody that disagrees with you, rather than just those who tell Davina to **** off. And Davina is fair game for that sort of abuse; other FMs are not.

Juggling is very difficult.
I can't juggle.
But if I see someone who claims to be a juggler continually dropping balls, I'm going to suggest that they might not be a very good juggler, even though I can't do a better (or as good) job myself.

At least we agree on one thing, a forum is where we vocie our opinions, but when there is a SPECIFIC thread which I have started, in a hope to actually find some forum members who like Davina, and you purposly come in here to slate her, then I don't see the point. There is another thread slating Davina not too far away from this one, which has at least 200 posts of negativity in them. Why can't you post there?

I'm sorry, but Davina doesn't strike me as being up to doing the requisite research for a programme like Newsnight. Her BB 'facts' were sometimes wrong. If she can't keep on top of such trivial facts, I wouldn't be confident of trusting her with far weightier material.

Because I started this thread with the PURPOSE for Davina fans to come and chat, not for anti-Davina fans to come along and completley ruin it.
