Anyone else liking Nurun? She seems the 'normal' one this year. Also, her skin of the teeth win tonight was pretty cool

Seems nice enough but didnt do well as PM botching her pitch and overcomplicating the good idea of a heated coat with fairy lights and odd shoulder pads.

Not sure any of them would have done much better BUT she did win

Aw, felt so sorry for her when she choked up on her pitch - it's the worst kind of feeling!

I like her, she's one of the least egotistic and tries to please everyone but she'll get eaten alive in that environment.

I still remember the horror of choking on my first presentation 14 years ago!

I fear you're right

Having said that the boss seems to be particularly mindful of bullying (not that I'm saying she is being bullied) and scapegoating this year. It's just nice having a normal one

I felt sorry for her too for a number of things. She was bullied into taking the role of PM and she messed up the pitch. I think some of those women have a pack mentality and thought she would be easy to blame and get rid of.

However, when she was in the boardroom, I thought she made her points very well without resorting to the usual shouting and backstabbing mentality. She seems quite a nice, decent person. Although I can't see her succeeding on the prog. She isn't gobby or ruthless enough.

That's exactly how I behave when nerves get the better of me when doing a presentation. so I could relate.

I like the normal ones who don't bullshit and put others down; Tom the inventor, Sara who got picked on by Jenny Celery etc.

Ir's a pity, but she's too nice and easily railroaded for this programme.

Sadly, she seems to be fulfilling a quota rather than being an appropriate candidate. It can't end well.

I don't really like any of them at the minute but she does seem to be one of the saner down to earth people on the show. I can't see her lasting past week 5 to be honest.

Nurun seems lovely, and yes she was pushed into project managing, but that's no excuse for the woeful pitch she gave. You've got to be better than that.

What really annoyed me though was Katie's "I'm more than happy to step up and lead the team" mid-way through the task. Why didn't she say this at the start when they were deciding Project Managers?

I like her but she is out of her depth in this process.

She stood up for herself in the boardroom but she should have done that during the task.

Exactly. Just what I thought.

I appreciate Nurun didn't exactly scintillate as a Project Manager but I am pretty sure none of them would have and no matter how insignificantly she did actually manage a win for them However, basically I like her normality compared to the rest of the bunch.

The win was nothing to do with her really. Her pitch was embarrassingly bad and she caved in over the tacky lapel lights. She knew that was a bad idea but caved in to Bianca and her "market research" (one person in the street liked the idea).

Having let them push the PM role onto her she couldn't even get their attention at the inital meeting. She just caved in. Someone with no presence like that is never going to succeed as an entrepreneur.

You sound like Katie and the rest as I'm sure if the team had lost she'd have been to blame

However, thus far, I like her as a person rather than her entrepreneurship. I agree she has a lot to learn to be as good a shark as the rest

My sentiments exactly completely agree with what is being said there.

Again I completely agree but I do get what Katie was doing - she didn't want to lead but when she saw a decision just wasn't being made she went ahead and made the to move things on even if it was completely the wrong one, the happy to step up and lead the team comment reminded me a bit of Louisa from last year which is a shame because I kind of like Katie but she isn't doing herself too many favors atm but I'm getting off topic here .

She's a lovely girl but far too timid. I can't see her lasting long.

What exactly did she contribute to the win then?

Clearly she was being hung out to dry, but she might have survived a loss because of that. As it was she lucked a win because the other team were even worse, just like Sarah on the previous task.

I agree she's likeable, and that's probably partly because she isn't one of the sharks. I don't think she will, or should, learn to be like one either.
