Indeed, but if he's found guilty it will be a bit odd. We already know that the police have completely botched the investigation (by identifying the wrong suspect) and if the jury find him guilty on such flimsy evidence, it will only compound things. It's not as if Rob planned the perfect murder either or even tried to frame Peter......that shows you just how hapless and inept the "investigation" was.

I've really enjoyed the trial scenes this week. The touches of humour with Norris and Mary throughout have also been welcome comic relief. Overall, it's been a strong week.
