Dodger got drunk after Maxine dumped him. He rambled to sienna about how he should be with theresa because it's easier then he crashed on the bed.

Isn't that the main reason to watch Hollyoaks because it's so close to absurd most of the time compared to other soaps? So many things about the Sienna have been ridiculous since the start.

This is the only story I am finding entertaining at the moment (solely because of how absurd it is). I can't see how on earth it will get wrapped up without the characters leaving. Sienna and Dodger can't ride off into the sunset with Nico obviously; if the truth about Nico comes out then Sienna, Dodger, Partick and Dirk I think are finished as they allowed it to happen (can't see Dirk being an innocent even if they are portraying him as such); I suppose Sienna and Dodger could turn out not to be twins by sound credibility stretching storyline... the only thin I can seriously see happening is for it all blowing up in everyone's face by coming out and the Blakes and Savages leaving Hollyoaks in shame never to me seen again. How could you continue to live there knowing that happened and you were a part of it.

I agree with the sentiment of this thread. There's over the top and crazy, and then there's just... this. What's the point when nothing has any impact, it's a joke. Clearly no one in charge gives a damn about the show or its quality, they can't do if they keep producing this crap. I don't know how the actors keep a straight face half the time. It's incredibly sad after how good the show used to be. I'm getting pretty close to giving up.

WHY is Teresa out. Also she has just had a baby yet is walking round the village, going to the prison, without the baby. I thought new mums couldn't leave their precious little darlings when theyw ere only one day old.
In the span of a day, Teresa got out, gave birth, visited Dodger, got a visiting order to see Maxine. Dodger saw maxine locked up, Teresa give birth, 'sleep' with Sienna and leave.

I know some people say storylines drag but seriously, about a weeks worth of stuff happened in one episode.

And there is NO WAY maxine would be locked up.

I agree with this. I think Dodger and Maxine have always been a convenient pairing for the writers. They initially put them together to complicate the Maxine/Patrick storyline. Their scenes usually seem like a pretty desperate attempt to persuade viewers that Maxine and Dodger are made for each other. It's a shame that the writers are contradicting the Dodger and Texas love story though.

I definitely don't want to see more Roscoes, gangsters, and especially Sinead, although I'm pretty sure there's going to be plenty more of them. Ste possibly, but not with John Paul, and especially not with Sinead, but there's definitely going to be more of that. Sigh! All the same, I still have no interest in all this Blakes malarkey - for me, it's boring with them. Can you tell I think Hollyoaks is rubbish these days?

Dodger and Texas worked well. He also was well suited to Theresa and with her having his baby, it only emphasises how little chemistry Dodger and Maxine have. Not to mention the fact that even Freddie would have been more of a support to Maxine than Dodger, who didn't believe that the woman he loves was abused,innocent of running over Patrick or that she wasn't going to go back to him. Maxine didn't believe that Dodger didn't rape Holly or that he wouldn't run off with Theresa.

Maxine's too nice and good-hearted for Dodger. Dodger works better with female characters who are a bit looser. Maxine is more suited to a settling-down type of character; apart from Dennis, there's none of those in the village! (even Dirk has let us down!)

Well. When Jorgie wanted to leave, it was intended to be for a while, so she finally got sent down for murder. When she went back to Dancing on Ice, she was a favourite, but having been paired with Jen's (Mercedes' ex) just for controversy, it backfired and she was voted off first. Thus, she was away for a much shorter time than planned.

Now, back to Theresa, Jorgie wanted back quicker than planned so of course, Kirkwood accepted her seeing as the McQueen's are being 'shaken up' (as the press release says...) and therefore a ridiculous reason to get her out and Sonny instantly becoming a villain. To be honest, she should have never killed Calvin and she wasn't the first choice earlier. Otherwise this mess would have been avoided now.

I've just watched the episode where Dodger and Maxine have their one-night-stand. It's one of the most ridiculous build-ups ever. Basically, Maxine says that Patrick makes her have brown sauce on her sandwiches even thought she likes ketchup. She goes round to Dodger's and he makes her a bacon sandwich and what does he put on it? Ketchup! Now, if that isn't motivation to sleep with someone, I don't know what is. By that logic, anyone in Hollyoaks who has a conversation will inevitably have sex.

Did make me think that Patrick and Martha might have been interesting together though. And to be fair, Dodger took advantage. Still, did it never occur to Maxine that there might be a different option?

Back to a slightly more sensible point, Patrick and Martha could have been fantastic! Especially if her alcoholism was a factor, of course she would have been vulnerable with Ash and Callum gone and a good way to manipulate her. Although I'm not sure what Maxine could have done if Patrick and Martha had the DV story instead.

I was starting to empathise with Sienna, as she had started to settle down living with Nico and having Leela as a friend. However, her framing Maxine and misleading/ embarassing Dodger has cost her her credibility again.

I agree, just when she was starting to develop, Kirkwood takes her right back to square one

What amused me about Theresa's return (other than no one seeming in the slightest happy that it happened) was the actress saying it was such a great twist no one would see it coming
yet everyone on the boards had predicted it and were unhappy about it

A lot of people predicted she would return the minute she got booted out of Dancing On Ice on the first week

I remember being so happy when she left and thinking finally we dont have to deal with her any more, then a week later its all she will return as soon as they can write her back in, and thinking why? finally the murderer is locked away, then she returns

What annoys me is she has served 9 months, and JP got 6 months for giving Robbie a well deserved slap, and she killed someone

it wasnt an accident, she had a gun and shot him at his wedding, she should be locked up for 25 years, which would give her time to get acting lessons

She should be rotting in jail where she belongs. I don't care how sympathetic HO are trying to portray Theresa or how there trying to make it look like Sonny set her up. She murdered a man. There's no escaping that fact. She shot him and she deserves to pay the consequences.
