The whole kidnap by Jai is ridiculous and is clearly to redeem charity within the dingle clan. Much would have preferred to see her having to deal with the rejection of her family and clawing respect back over time whilst trying to deal with losing home farm/money than this whole kidnap thing. However I'm still loving ED at the moment

I like the storyline and love Charity but hate how hypercritical the Dingle family have been, they are living in a massive glass house.

I'm enjoying it, but I think the wrong person has kidnapped her. Jai can't act for toffee and is as threatening/scary as a gummy bear. Declan should have been the one to kidnap her, not only can he act, he's believable as a bad guy, and would have made it much more tense viewing. Sam and Jai, the two most deathly dull boring twonks in the village that make my eye glaze over when their on screen....putting one of them at the front of this story was a mistake, putting both was just sheer stupidity.
This is so true. Jai wouldn't go that far. I hate my ex hubby but wouldn't go that far

I've hated every Charity storyline since the day she joined the cast.

Can't wait for her to leave.

I enjoyed the Charity and Declan scenes but I was disappointed with the kidnapping.

Now that Charity appears to have been forgiven by The Dingles, I am wondering if that's the end of her comeuppance? If so, then it's all a bit pfft IMO

If you fall out massively with your family, get someone to beat you over the head or threaten your life and then they will love you again

Seriously though, this is the fourth time that the scriptwriters have done this to redeem a character - first Cain, then Debbie and Chas and now Charity. I'd have liked to have seen a little bit more originality for a change

Considering it was an anniversary and a 7000th episode, I felt it was very lackluster. The whole story seemed to be tapped on because the wood/lake week was good.
