Ooh, I like the thought of that. Notice how Keeble didn't just fire Emma in that scene in the park; she gave her a lecture but actually sounded fairly sympathetic (well, as sympathetic as Goddess Keeble could sound with a minion like Emma) and then told her to go to a meeting the next day, without explicitly saying what the purpose of the meeting was.

Then we get Emma going to Max, and her 'fiancée' (who just happens to be a police officer himself) turning up ultra-conveniently to serve the purpose of driving Emma back into Max's arms.

I think you could very well be onto something here.

I do think that Emma and Declan are up to something.

Obviously Declan has been watching Peter and Lauren and now he is suddenly the partner of Emma, who is doing the dance-with-no-pants with Max.

I can't believe it was a police sting from the off, as that would portray the police as underhand and sly, which I doubt the BBC would want to do. However, I do think that Emma and Declan are up to no good...I just don't know what!

Summerhayes is flakey and BLAND, a pot of magnolia has more colour.

It could all be a sting. It's interesting Max is a suspect as oppose to being a witness to Lucy's life. However if Summerhayes is sleeping with a suspect won't that put paid to any evidence gained from the "relationship".

I'd love Emma to be playing Max in some way, I just don't see how its possible given how she's acted in the past few months. She's tried to call it off far too many times for me to believe that it's a con. I could believe that last night was the start of it though, with Emma trying to keep her job, as she showed more spark last night than she's done in the whole storyline.

I don't find this very clear. Do you mean she's been working undercover? If that is the case then the other police woman (forgot her name) took her to the park and told her off. Meaning it wasn't undercover...

I think the police either think Lauren did it or she is at risk. I am going with they think lauren did it.

I was convinced after her interaction with Max but then went back to not being sure again after the phone call, she seemed shocked that it was Cameron's car. Unless Cameron stalking Lauren is a separate thing, or maybe Cameron is taking it further that he should?

I hope someone does come from this and we aren't left disappointed.
