ipad mini 3????

Is anyone planning to actually BUY an iPad mini 3????

It seems to have almost identical specs to the iPad mini 2 - and ONLY adds a fingerprint sensor!

It's presence in the shops does have the HIGHLY beneficial effect of enabling Apple to lower the prices of the Mini 2 - thus making them much more competitive!

I think while there are people who want the next model, whether it represents good value or not.

Some folk just can't resist the hype. My teenage daughter is one of them.

If you don't have a mini 2, then the new model is quite attractive.

I've seen the mini 2 offered for £199 on the Apple refurb site, and at that price it's hard to refuse.

I am a self-confessed 'Apple Tart' & normally buy the latest models as soon as they are launched, but even I find it hard to see just who mini 3 is targeted at?

If you already have what they now call mini 2, there is no incentive to upgrade unless you really want TouchID (I think most people can live without TouchID).....if you don't already have a mini, then unless you must have TouchID, the mini2 is a great buy at it's new price.

Just a little disappointed that there is no new model of mini that is the same internal spec as Air2 (I would have upgraded my mini 2, had there been).
